41:55

41: 55-57, 42: 5-7, 17-24

And being hungry, the people cried out to Pharaoh, asking for provisions. Ndipo adati kwa iwo: “Go to Joseph. And do whatever he will tell you.”

41:56 Then the famine increased daily in all the land. And Joseph opened all of the storehouses and sold to the Egyptians. For the famine had oppressed them also.
41:57 And all the provinces came to Egypt, to buy food and to temper the misfortune of their destitution.

Genesis 42

42:5 And they entered into the land of Egypt with the others who traveled to buy. For the famine was in the land of Canaan.
42:6 And Joseph was governor in the land of Egypt, and grain was sold under his direction to the people. And when his brothers had reverenced him
42:7 and he had recognized them, he spoke harshly, as if to foreigners, questioning them: “Where did you come from?” And they responded, “From the land of Canaan, to buy necessary provisions.”
42:17 Choncho, he delivered them into custody for three days.
42:18 Ndiye, pa tsiku lachitatu, he brought them out of prison, ndipo adati: “Do as I have said, ndipo mudzakhala ndi moyo. For I fear God.
42:19 If you are peaceful, let one of your brothers be bound in prison. Then you may go away and carry the grain that you have bought to your houses.
42:20 And bring your youngest brother to me, so that I may be able to test your words, and you may not die.” They did as he had said,
42:21 and they spoke to one another: “We deserve to suffer these things, because we have sinned against our brother, seeing the anguish of his soul, when he begged us and we would not listen. Chifukwa chake, this tribulation has come upon us.”
42:22 And Reuben, one of them, adatero: “Did not I say to you, ‘Do not sin against the boy,’ and you would not listen to me? See, his blood is exacted.”
42:23 But they did not know that Joseph understood, because he was speaking to them through an interpreter.
42:24 And he turned himself away briefly and wept. Ndi kubwerera, he spoke to them.

Uthenga Wopatulika Malinga ndi Mateyu 10: 1-7

10:1 Ndi kuwuka, nacokera kumeneko ku dziko la Yudeya tsidya lija la Yordano. Ndipo kachiwiri, khamu la anthu linasonkhana pamaso pake. Ndipo monga anazolowera, adawaphunzitsanso.
10:2 Ndi kuyandikira, Afarisi adamfunsa Iye, kumuyesa: “Kodi n’zololedwa kuti mwamuna achotse mkazi wake??”
10:3 Koma poyankha, adati kwa iwo, “Kodi Mose anakulangizani chiyani??”
10:4 Ndipo iwo adati, "Mose adalola kuti alembe kalata yachilekaniro ndi kumuchotsa."
10:5 Koma Yesu anayankha nati: “Ndi chifukwa cha kuuma kwa mtima wanu kuti adakulemberani lamulolo.
10:6 Koma kuyambira pa chiyambi cha chilengedwe, Mulungu anawapanga iwo mwamuna ndi mkazi.
10:7 Chifukwa cha izi, mwamuna adzasiya atate wake ndi amake, ndipo adzadziphatika kwa mkazi wake.
