Machitidwe a Atumwi 6: 1-7

6:1M’masiku amenewo, pamene chiwerengero cha ophunzira chinkachuluka, panali kung’ung’udza kwa Agiriki pa Ahebri, chifukwa amasiye awo ankanyozedwa pa utumiki wa tsiku ndi tsiku.
6:2Ndipo kotero khumi ndi awiriwo, adasonkhanitsa khamu la wophunzira, adatero: “Sikoyenera kwa ife kusiya Mawu a Mulungu kuti tizitumikiranso pagome.
6:3Choncho, abale, funani pakati panu amuna asanu ndi awiri a umboni wabwino, wodzazidwa ndi Mzimu Woyera ndi nzeru, amene tingamuike woyang'anira ntchito iyi.
6:4Komabe moona, tidzakhala mosalekeza m’mapemphero ndi mu utumiki wa Mawu.”
6:5Ndipo chiwembucho chinakondweretsa khamu lonselo. Ndipo anasankha Stefano, munthu wodzazidwa ndi chikhulupiriro ndi Mzimu Woyera, ndi Filipo ndi Prokoro ndi Nikanori ndi Timoni ndi Parmena ndi Nikolasi, kufika kwatsopano kuchokera ku Antiokeya.
6:6Iwo adawaika pamaso pa Atumwi, ndi popemphera, adayika manja pa iwo.
6:7Ndipo Mawu a Ambuye anali kukula, ndipo chiwerengero cha ophunzira m’Yerusalemu chidachuluka ndithu. Ndipo ngakhale gulu lalikulu la ansembe linali kumvera chikhulupiriro.

6:16Ndiye, madzulo anafika, his disciples descended to the sea.
6:17And when they had climbed into a boat, they went across the sea to Capernaum. And darkness had now arrived, and Jesus had not returned to them.
6:18Then the sea was stirred up by a great wind that was blowing.
6:19Ndipo kenako, when they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing near to the boat, and they were afraid.
6:20Koma adati kwa iwo: “Ndine. Do not be afraid.”
6:21Choncho, they were willing to receive him into the boat. But immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.
