The Second Letter of Saint Paul to Timothy 1: 1-8

1:1	Paulo, an Apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, in accord with the promise of the life which is in Christ Jesus,
1:2	kwa Timoteo, most beloved son. Chisomo, chifundo, mtendere, kwa Mulungu Atate ndi kwa Khristu Yesu Ambuye wathu.
1:3	I give thanks to God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a pure conscience. For without ceasing I hold the remembrance of you in my prayers, usiku ndi usana,
1:4	desiring to see you, recalling your tears so as to be filled with joy,
1:5	calling to mind the same faith, which is in you unfeigned, which also first dwelt in your grandmother, Lois, and in your mother, Eunice, and also, I am certain, in you.
1:6	Chifukwa cha izi, I admonish you to revive the grace of God, which is in you by the imposition of my hands.
1:7	For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of virtue, and of love, and of self-restraint.
1:8	Ndipo kenako, do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, his prisoner. M'malo mwake, collaborate with the Gospel in accord with the virtue of God,

Uthenga Wopatulika Malinga ndi Luka 10: 1-9

10:1	Ndiye, zitatha izi, Yehova anasankhanso ena makumi asanu ndi awiri mphambu awiri. Ndipo adawatumiza awiriawiri pamaso pake, m’mizinda yonse ndi m’malo onse amene iye akanati akafikeko.
10:2	Ndipo adati kwa iwo: “Zotuta n’zochuluka, koma antchito ali owerengeka. Choncho, pemphani Mwini zotuta kuti atumize antchito kukututa kwake.
10:3	Pitani patsogolo. Taonani!, Ine ndikutumizani inu ngati ana a nkhosa pakati pa mimbulu.
10:4	Osasankha kunyamula chikwama, kapena zopatsa, kapena nsapato; ndipo musalonjere munthu panjira.
10:5	M’nyumba ili yonse mukalowamo, choyamba kunena, ‘Mtendere ukhale pa nyumba iyi.’
10:6	Ndipo ngati pali mwana wa mtendere, mtendere wanu udzakhala pa iye. Koma ngati sichoncho, idzabwerera kwa inu.
10:7	Ndipo khalani m’nyumba momwemo, kudya ndi kumwa zomwe zili nawo. Pakuti wantchito ayenera kulandira malipiro ake. Osasankha kudutsa nyumba ndi nyumba.
10:8	Ndipo mumzinda uliwonse mwalowa, ndipo iwo adzalandira inu, Idyani zimene Akupatsani.
10:9	Ndipo chiritsani odwala amene ali pamenepo, ndi kulalikira kwa iwo, ‘Ufumu wa Mulungu wayandikira kwa inu.’
