First Reading
Geneza 12: 1-4
12:1 Wtedy Pan powiedział do Abrama: „Wyjdźcie z waszej ziemi, i od twoich bliskich, i z domu twego ojca, i wejdź do kraju, który ci pokażę.
12:2 I uczynię z ciebie wielki naród, a ja będę ci błogosławił i wysławiał twoje imię, i będziesz błogosławiony.
12:3 Będę błogosławił tym, którzy błogosławią ciebie, i przeklinajcie tych, którzy was przeklinają, i w tobie będą błogosławione wszystkie narody ziemi”.
12:4 I tak Abram odszedł, tak jak polecił mu Pan, i Lot poszedł z nim. Abram miał siedemdziesiąt pięć lat, kiedy opuścił Charan.
Second Reading
Drugi list do Tymoteusza 1:8-10

Mateusz 17: 1-9
17:1 And after six days, Jesus took Peter and James and his brother John, and he led them onto a lofty mountain separately.
17:2 And he was transfigured before them. And his face shined brightly like the sun. And his garments were made white like snow.
17:3 I oto, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, speaking with him.
17:4 And Peter responded by saying to Jesus: "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you are willing, let us make three tabernacles here, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
17:5 And while he was still speaking, ujrzeć, a shining cloud overshadowed them. I oto, there was a voice from the cloud, powiedzenie: “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”
