Exodus 22: 20-26

22:20 Kto składa ofiary bogom, innego niż Panu, zostanie zabity. 22:21 Nie będziesz nękał nowo przybyłego, ani nie będziesz go trapił. Bo wy sami byliście kiedyś przybyszami w ziemi egipskiej.

22:22 Nie będziesz krzywdził wdowy ani sieroty.

22:23 Jeśli ich skrzywdzisz, będą wołać do mnie, i usłyszę ich wołanie.

22:24 A moja furia będzie wściekła, i powalę cię mieczem. A wasze żony zostaną wdowami, a twoi synowie zostaną sierotami.

22:25 Jeśli pożyczysz pieniądze ubogim mojego ludu, którzy mieszkają wśród ciebie, nie będziesz ich zmuszał jak zbieracz, ani nie uciskaj ich lichwą.

22:26 Jeśli weźmiesz w zastaw ubranie od bliźniego, zwrócisz mu go ponownie przed zachodem słońca

Thessalonians 1: 5-10

1:5 For our Gospel has not been among you in word alone, but also in virtue, and in the Holy Spirit, and with a great fullness, in the same manner as you know we have acted among you for your sake.

1:6 A więc, you became imitators of us and of the Lord, accepting the Word in the midst of great tribulation, but with the joy of the Holy Spirit.

1:7 So have you become a pattern for all who believe in Macedonia and in Achaia.

1:8 For from you, the Word of the Lord was spread, not only in Macedonia and in Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith, which is toward God, has advanced so much so that we do not need to speak to you about anything.

1:9 For others are reporting among us of the kind of acceptance we had among you, and how you were converted from idols to God, to the service of the living and true God,

1:10 and to the expectation of his Son from heaven (whom he raised up from the dead), Jezus, who has rescued us from the approaching wrath.

Mateusz 22: 33-40

22:33 And when the crowds heard this, they wondered at his doctrine. 22:34 But the Pharisees, hearing that he had caused the Sadducees to be silent, came together as one.

22:35 I jeden z nich, a doctor of the law, questioned him, to test him:

22:36 "Nauczyciel, which is the great commandment in the law?”

22:37 Jesus said to him: “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God from all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

22:38 This is the greatest and first commandment.

22:39 Ale drugi jest do niego podobny: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’

22:40 On these two commandments the entire law depends, and also the prophets.”
