ኤፌሶን 6: 10-20
6:10 የቀረውን በተመለከተ, ወንድሞች, በጌታ በርታ, በእሱ በጎነት ኃይል.
6:11 የእግዚአብሔርን የጦር ዕቃ ልበሱ, የዲያብሎስን ሽንገላ ትቃወሙ ዘንድ.
6:12 ትግላችን ከሥጋና ከደም ጋር አይደለምና።, ግን ከአለቆች እና ከስልጣኖች ጋር, በዚህ የጨለማ ዓለም ዳይሬክተሮች ላይ, በከፍታ ቦታዎች ላይ ከክፉ መናፍስት ጋር.

6:17 የመዳንንም ራስ ቁር የመንፈስንም ሰይፍ አንሡ (ይህም የእግዚአብሔር ቃል ነው።).
6:18 በሁሉም ዓይነት ጸሎትና ልመና, ሁል ጊዜ በመንፈስ ጸልዩ, ስለዚህ ከማንኛውም ዓይነት ልመና ጋር ንቁዎች ሁን, ለቅዱሳን ሁሉ,
6:19 እና ደግሞ ለእኔ, ቃል ይሰጠኝ ዘንድ, የወንጌልን ምስጢር ለማሳወቅ በእምነት አፌን እንደከፈትሁ,
6:20 በትክክል መናገር የሚገባኝን ለመናገር እንድደፍር እንዲሁ. ለወንጌል በሰንሰለት ታስሬ አምባሳደር ሆኛለሁና።.

ሉቃ 13: 31-35
