Jeremia 3: 5-8

23:5 Tarirai, the days are approaching, Ndizvo zvinotaura Jehovha, when I will raise up to David a righteous branch. And a king will reign, and he will be wise. And he will exercise judgment and justice upon the earth.
23:6 Mumazuva iwayo, Judah will be saved, and Israel will live in confidence. And this is the name that they will call him: ‘Ishe, our Just One.’
23:7 Nokuda kwaizvozvi, tarirai, the days are approaching, Ndizvo zvinotaura Jehovha, when they will no longer say, ‘NaJehovha mupenyu, who led the sons of Israel away from the land of Egypt,'
23:8 asi panzvimbo pezvo, ‘NaJehovha mupenyu, who led away and brought back the offspring of the house of Israel from the land of the north and from the entire earth,’ from the places to which I had cast them out. And they will live in their own land.”

Mateu 1: 18-25

1:18	Zvino kubereka kwaKristu kwakaitika nenzira iyi. Mushure mokunge mai vake Maria vanyengwa naJosefa, vasati vagara pamwe chete, akaonekwa kuti ava nemimba noMweya Mutsvene.
1:19	Ipapo Josefa, murume wake, sezvo akanga akarurama uye akanga asingadi kumuisa mumaoko ake, akada kumudzinga chinyararire.
1:20	Asi pakufunga pamusoro pezvinhu izvi, tarirai, mutumwa waShe akazviratidza kwaari pahope dzake, achiti: “Joseph, mwanakomana waDhavhidhi, usatya kugamuchira Maria semukadzi wako. Nokuti chakaitwa maari ndecheMweya Mutsvene.
1:21	Uye achabereka mwanakomana. uye uchatumidza zita rake JESU. Nokuti achaita ruponeso rwavanhu vake pazvivi zvavo.
1:22	Zvino izvi zvose zvakaitika kuti zvizadzise zvakataurwa naIshe kubudikidza nemuprofita, achiti:
1:23	“Tarirai, mhandara ichava nemimba mudumbu rayo, uye achabereka mwanakomana. vachatumidza zita rake Emanueri, zvinoreva kuti: Mwari anesu.”
1:24	Ipapo Josefa, arising from sleep, did just as the Angel of the Lord had instructed him, and he accepted her as his wife.
1:25	And he knew her not, yet she bore her son, dangwe. And he called his name JESUS.
