Hosiya 14: 2-7

14:2 Izirayeri, dzokerai kuna Jehovha Mwari wenyu. Nekuti wakaparadzwa nezvakaipa zvako.
14:3 Enda namashoko aya udzokere kuna Jehovha. Uye uti kwaari, “Bvisai zvakaipa zvose mugamuchire zvakanaka. Uye isu ticharipa mhuru dzemiromo yedu.
14:4 Assur haizotiponesi; hatingatasvi pamabhiza. Nesuwo hatichataurazve, ‘Mabasa emaoko edu ndivo vamwari vedu,’ nokuti vari mauri vachanzwira nherera tsitsi.”
14:5 Ndichaporesa kurwadziwa kwavo; Ndichavada pakarepo. nekuti kutsamwa kwangu kwadzorwa kwavari;.
14:6 Ndichava sedova; Isiraeri achatumbuka seruva, mudzi wake uchatanda soomusidhari wokuRebhanoni.
14:7 Matavi ake achaenda mberi, uye kubwinya kwake kuchaita somuorivhi, uye kunhuwira kwake kuchafanana nokuya kwemisidhari yokuRebhanoni.

Mateu 10: 16-23

10:16 Tarirai, I am sending you like sheep in the midst of wolves. Naizvozvo, be as prudent as serpents and as simple as doves.
10:17 But beware of men. Nokuti vachakuisai kumatare emakurukota, and they will scourge you in their synagogues.
10:18 And you shall be led before both rulers and kings for my sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.
10:19 But when they hand you over, do not choose to think about how or what to speak. For what to speak shall be given to you in that hour.
10:20 For it is not you who will be speaking, but the Spirit of your Father, who will speak in you.
10:21 And brother will hand over brother to death, and father will hand over son. And children will rise up against parents and bring about their deaths.
10:22 Uye muchavengwa nevose nekuda kwezita rangu. But whoever will have persevered, kunyange kusvikira kumagumo, ndivo vachaponeswa.
10:23 Now when they persecute you in one city, flee into another. Ameni ndinoti kwamuri, you will not have exhausted all the cities of Israel, before the Son of man returns.
