Branje

The Book of the Prophet Isaiah 2:1-5

2:1	Beseda, ki jo je Izaija, Amosov sin, videli glede Juda in Jeruzalema.
2:2	In v zadnjih dneh, gora hiše Gospodove bo pripravljena na vrhu gora, in povzdignjen bo nad hribe, in vsi narodi se bodo stekali k njemu.
2:3	In veliko ljudi bo šlo, in rekli bodo: »Približajmo se in se povzpnimo na Gospodovo goro, in v hišo Boga Jakobovega. In učil nas bo svojih poti, in hodili bomo po njegovih poteh.« Kajti postava bo prišla iz Siona, in Gospodovo besedo iz Jeruzalema.
2:4	In sodil bo narode, in grajal bo mnoga ljudstva. In kovali bodo svoje meče v lemeže, in njihove sulice v srpe. Narod ne bo dvignil meča nad narod, prav tako se ne bodo še naprej urili za boj.
2:5	O hiša Jakobova, pristopimo in hodimo v luči Gospodovi.

Sveti evangelij po Mateju 8: 5-11

8:5	And when he had entered into Capernaum, a centurion approached, petitioning him,
8:6	in rekel, »Gospod, my servant lies at home paralyzed and badly tormented.”
8:7	In Jezus mu je rekel, “I will come and heal him.”
8:8	In odzivanje, the centurion said: »Gospod, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant shall be healed.
8:9	za jaz, preveč, am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, 'Pojdi,’ and he goes, and to another, 'Pridi,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
8:10	in, hearing this, Jesus wondered. And he said to those following him: »Amen vam pravim, I have not found so great a faith in Israel.
8:11	Kajti pravim vam, that many shall come from the east and the west, and they shall sit at table with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
