Za vsakega velikega duhovnika, ki je bil vzet izmed ljudi, je postavljen v imenu ljudi za stvari, ki se nanašajo na Boga, tako da lahko daruje darove in žrtve v imenu grehov; |

sposoben je sočustvovati s tistimi, ki so nevedni in ki tavajo, ker je tudi on sam zajet v slabosti. |

In zaradi tega, tudi sam mora darovati take daritve za grehe, na enak način kot za ljudi. |

Tudi te časti nihče ne prevzame sam, temveč tistega, ki je poklican od Boga, tako kot je bil Aaron. |

It is Christ who, in the days of his flesh, with a strong cry and tears, offered prayers and supplications to the One who was able to save him from death, and who was heard because of his reverence. |
