Branje

The Letter of Saint Paul to the Galatians 5: 18-25

5:18	But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
5:19	Now the works of the flesh are manifest; they are: fornication, lust, homoseksualnost, self-indulgence,
5:20	the serving of idols, drug use, hostility, contentiousness, jealousy, wrath, quarrels, dissensions, divisions,
5:21	envy, murder, inebriation, carousing, and similar things. About these things, I continue to preach to you, as I have preached to you: that those who act in this way shall not obtain the kingdom of God.
5:22	But the fruit of the Spirit is charity, joy, peace, potrpežljivost, kindness, goodness, forbearance,
5:23	krotkost, vera, modesty, abstinence, chastity. There is no law against such things.
5:24	For those who are Christ’s have crucified their flesh, along with its vices and desires.
5:25	If we live by the Spirit, we should also walk by the Spirit.

The Holy Gospel According Luke 11: 42-46

11:42	Ampak gorje tebi, farizeji! Kajti daješ desetino mete in rute in vseh zelišč, vendar ignoriraš sodbo in Božjo dobrodelnost. Toda te stvari bi moral narediti, ne da bi izpustili ostale.
11:43	Gorje tebi, farizeji! Kajti ljubiš prve sedeže v sinagogah, in pozdrav na tržnici.
11:44	Gorje tebi! Kajti vi ste kot grobovi, ki niso opazni, tako da moški hodijo čeznje, ne da bi se tega zavedali.«
11:45	Potem eden od poznavalcev prava, v odgovor, mu rekel, »Učitelj, pri izgovarjanju teh stvari, žališ tudi nas.”
11:46	Tako je rekel: »In gorje vam, poznavalci prava! Kajti ljudi obremenjuješ z bremeni, ki jih ne morejo nositi, sami pa se uteži ne dotaknete niti z enim prstom.
