Branje

The Acts of the Apostles 4: 32-37

4:32	Takrat je bila množica vernikov enega srca in ene duše. Prav tako nihče ni rekel, da je katera od stvari, ki jih ima, njegova last, ampak vse stvari so jim bile skupne.
4:33	In z veliko močjo, Apostoli so pričevali o vstajenju Jezusa Kristusa, našega Gospoda. In velika milost je bila v vseh.
4:34	In tudi nihče med njimi ni bil v stiski. Za toliko, kolikor jih je bilo lastnikov njiv ali hiš, prodaja teh, so prinašali izkupiček od stvari, ki so jih prodajali,
4:35	in so ga postavili pred noge apostolov. Nato so ga razdelili vsakemu posebej, tako kot je potreboval.
4:36	Zdaj Jožef, ki so ga apostoli poimenovali Barnaba (kar je prevedeno kot "sin tolažbe"), ki je bil levit ciprskega rodu,
4:37	saj je imel zemljo, ga je prodal, in prinesel je izkupiček ter ga položil k nogam apostolov.

The Holy Gospel According to John 3: 7-15

3:7	You should not be amazed that I said to you: You must be born anew.
3:8	The Spirit inspires where he wills. And you hear his voice, but you do not know where he comes from, or where he is going. So it is with all who are born of the Spirit.”
3:9	Nicodemus responded and said to him, “How are these things able to be accomplished?”
3:10	Jezus je odgovoril in mu rekel: “You are a teacher in Israel, and you are ignorant of these things?
3:11	Amen, amen, pravim vam, that we speak about what we know, and we testify about what we have seen. But you do not accept our testimony.
3:12	If I have spoken to you about earthly things, and you have not believed, then how will you believe, if I will speak to you about heavenly things?
3:13	And no one has ascended to heaven, except the one who descended from heaven: the Son of man who is in heaven.
3:14	And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so also must the Son of man be lifted up,
3:15	so that whoever believes in him may not perish, but may have eternal life.
