The Book of the Prophet Isaiah 6: 1-8

6:1In the year in which king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, sublime and exalted, and the things that were under him filled the temple.
6:2The Seraphims were standing above the throne. One had six wings, and the other had six wings: with two they were covering his face, and with two they were covering his feet, and with two they were flying.
6:3And they were crying out to one another, in rekel: “Holy, sveto, holy is the Lord God of hosts! All the earth is filled with his glory!”
6:4And the lintels above the hinges were shaken at the voice of the one crying out. And the house was filled with smoke.
6:5In rekel sem: “Woe to me! For I have remained silent. For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live in the midst of a people having unclean lips, and I have seen with my eyes the King, the Lord of hosts!”
6:6And one of the Seraphims flew to me, and in his hand was a burning coal, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
6:7And he touched my mouth, in rekel je, »Glej, this has touched your lips, and so your iniquities will be taken away, and your sin will be cleansed.”
6:8And I heard the voice of the Lord, govoriti: “Whom shall I send?« in, “Who will go for us?« In rekel sem: "Tukaj sem. Send me.”

Sveti evangelij po Mateju 10: 24- 31

10:24In učenci so bili osupli nad njegovimi besedami. Ampak Jezus, ponovno odgovarjam, jim je rekel: »Sinovi, kako težko je tistim, ki zaupajo v denar, vstopiti v božje kraljestvo!
10:25Kameli gre lažje skozi igelno uho, kot da bi bogati vstopil v božje kraljestvo.«
10:26In še bolj so se spraševali, govorijo med sabo, "WHO, potem, se lahko shrani?”
10:27In Jezus, zre vanje, rekel: »Pri moških je to nemogoče; vendar ne z Bogom. Kajti pri Bogu je vse mogoče.”
10:28In Peter mu je začel govoriti, »Glej, zapustili smo vse in šli za vami.
10:29V odgovor, Jezus je rekel: »Amen vam pravim, Ni nikogar, ki bi zapustil hišo, ali bratje, ali sestre, ali oče, ali mati, ali otroci, ali zemljišče, zaradi mene in zaradi evangelija,
10:30ki ne bo dobil stokrat toliko, zdaj v tem času: hiše, in bratje, in sestre, in matere, in otroci, in zemljišče, s preganjanji, in v prihodnjem veku večno življenje.
10:31Toda mnogi od prvih bodo zadnji, in zadnji bodo prvi.”
