The Book of the Prophet Isaiah 55: 10-11

55:10	And in the same manner as rain and snow descend from heaven, and no longer return there, but soak the earth, and water it, and cause it to bloom and to provide seed to the sower and bread to the hungry,
55:11	so also will my word be, which will go forth from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish whatever I will, and it will prosper in the tasks for which I sent it.

8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared with that future glory which shall be revealed in us.

8:19 For the anticipation of the creature anticipates the revelation of the sons of God.

8:20 For the creature was made subject to emptiness, not willingly, but for the sake of the One who made it subject, unto hope.

8:21 For the creature itself shall also be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the sons of God.

8:22 For we know that every creature groans inwardly, as if giving birth, even until now;

8:23 and not only these, but also ourselves, since we hold the first-fruits of the Spirit. For we also groan within ourselves, anticipating our adoption as the sons of God, and the redemption of our body.

Matej 13: 1-23

13:1 V tistem dnevu, Jezus, odhod iz hiše, sedel ob morju.

13:2 K njemu so se zbrale tolikšne množice, da je zlezel v čoln in se usedel. In vsa množica je stala na obali.

13:3 In veliko jim je govoril v prilikah, govoriti: »Glej, sejalec je šel sejati seme.

13:4 In medtem ko je sejal, nekateri so padli ob cesto, in ptice neba so priletele in ga jedle.

13:5 Nato so drugi padli na skalnato mesto, kjer niso imeli veliko zemlje. In vzklili so takoj, ker niso imeli globoke zemlje.

13:6 Ko pa je sonce vzšlo, bili so ožgani, in ker niso imeli korenin, so ovenele.

13:7 Spet drugi so padli med trnje, in trnje se je povečalo in jih zadušilo.

13:8 Nekateri pa so padli na dobra tla, in obrodili so sadje: nekaj stokrat, kakšnih šestdesetkrat, kakšnih tridesetkrat.

13:9 Kdor ima ušesa, naj sliši, naj sliši."

13:10 And his disciples drew near to him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”

13:18 poslušaj, potem, k prispodobi o sejalcu.

13:19 Z vsakim, ki sliši besedo kraljestva in je ne razume, zlo pride in odnese, kar je bilo posejano v njegovem srcu. To je tisti, ki je dobil seme ob cesti.

13:20 Potem, kdor je prejel seme na skalnatem mestu, to je tisti, ki sliši besedo in jo takoj z veseljem sprejme.

13:21 Vendar nima korenin v sebi, tako da je samo za nekaj časa; potem, ko pride do stiske in preganjanja zaradi besede, se takoj spotakne.

13:22 In kdor je prejel seme med trnje, to je tisti, ki posluša besedo, toda skrbi tega veka in zmota bogastva zadušijo besedo, in dejansko je brez sadja.

13:23 Pa vendar resnično, kdor je prejel seme v dobro zemljo, to je tisti, ki posluša besedo, in to razume, in tako obrodi sadove, in proizvaja: nekaj stokrat, in še šestdesetkrat, in še tridesetkrat.«
