Branje

Jeremija 1: 1, 4-10

1:1 Jeremijeve besede, Hilkijinega sina izmed duhovnikov, ki so bili v Anatotu v Benjaminovi deželi.

11:4 In Gospodova beseda je prišla k meni, govoriti: 1:5 »Preden sem te oblikoval v maternici, poznal sem te. In preden si šel iz maternice, Jaz sem te posvetil. In postavil sem te za preroka narodom.”

1:6 In rekel sem: »Žal, žal, žal, Gospod Bog! Glej, Ne znam govoriti, saj sem fant."

1:7 In Gospod mi je rekel: »Ne odločite se reči, 'Fant sem.' Kajti šel boš k vsem, h katerim te bom poslal. In govoril boš vse, kar ti bom ukazal.

1:8 Ne smete se bati pred njihovim obrazom. Kajti jaz sem s teboj, da te lahko izročim,« pravi Gospod.

1:9 In Gospod je iztegnil svojo roko, in dotaknil se je mojih ust. In Gospod mi je rekel: »Glej, Svoje besede sem položil v tvoja usta.

1:10 Glej, danes sem te postavil nad narode in nad kraljestva, tako da lahko poženeš korenine, in potegnite navzdol, in uničiti, in razpršiti, in da lahko zidate in sadite.«

Luka 13: 1-9

13:1	And there were present, at that very time, some who were reporting about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate mixed with their sacrifices.

13:6	And he also told this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree, which was planted in his vineyard. And he came seeking fruit on it, but found none.
13:7	Then he said to the cultivator of the vineyard: 'Glej, for these three years I came seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I have found none. Zato, cut it down. For why should it even occupy the land?'
13:8	Toda v odgovoru, mu je rekel: 'Gospod, let it be for this year also, during which time I will dig around it and add fertilizer.
