13:44 Għalhekk, whoever will have been spotted by leprosy, and who has been separated at the judgment of the priest,
13:45 shall have his clothes unstitched, his head bare, his mouth covered with a cloth, and he himself shall cry out that he is contaminated and filthy.

Evanġelju

L-Evanġelju Qaddis Skond Mark 1:40-45

1:40 U lebbruż ġie għandu, tallaba lilu. U tinkina, qallu, “Jekk inti lest, int kapaċi tnaddafni.”
1:41 Imbagħad Ġesù, tieħu ħasra minnu, laħaq idu. U tmissu, qallu: “Jien lest. Kun imnaddaf.”
1:42 U wara li kien tkellem, minnufih il-lebbra telqet minnu, u kien imnaddaf.
1:43 U wissieh, u fil-pront bagħtu.
1:44 U qallu: “Ara li ma tgħid lil ħadd. Imma mur u uri lilek innifsek lill-qassis il-kbir, u offri għat-tindif tiegħek dak li ordna Mosè, bħala xhieda għalihom.”
1:45 Imma wara li telaq, beda jipprietka u jxerred il-kelma, hekk li ma kienx aktar kapaċi jidħol fil-miftuħ fil-belt, imma kellu jibqa’ barra, f’postijiet abbandunati. U kienu miġbura miegħu minn kull direzzjoni.
