Eżodu 34: 4-6, 8-9

34:4 And so he cut out two tablets of stone, like those that were before. And rising up in the night, he ascended onto Mount Sinai, just as the Lord had instructed him, carrying with him the tablets.

34:5 And when the Lord had descended in a cloud, Moses stood with him, calling upon the name of the Lord.

34:6 And as he was crossing before him, hu qal: “The Ruler, il-Mulej Alla, merciful and lenient, patient and full of compassion and also truthful,

34:8 And hurrying, Moses bowed down prostrate to the ground; and worshiping,

34:9 hu qal: “If I have found grace in your sight, O Mulej, I beg you to walk with us, (for the people are stiff-necked) and take away our iniquities and our sin, and so possess us.

Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians 13: 11-13

13:11 Fir-rigward tal-bqija, aħwa, tiċċelebra, kun perfett, ikunu mħeġġa, għandhom l-istess moħħ, ikollhom il-paċi. U hekk Alla tal-paċi u l-imħabba jkun miegħek.

13:12 Insellmu lil xulxin b’bewsa qaddisa. Il-qaddisin kollha jsellmulkom.

13:13 Il-grazzja ta’ Sidna Ġesù Kristu, u l-karità ta’ Alla, u l-komunjoni tal-Ispirtu s-Santu tkun magħkom ilkoll. Amen.

John 13: 16-18

13:16 Amen, amen, Jien ngħidlek, the servant is not greater than his Lord, and the apostle is not greater than he who sent him.

13:17 If you understand this, you shall be blessed if you will do it.

13:18 I am not speaking about all of you. I know those whom I have chosen. But this is so that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘He who eats bread with me shall lift up his heel against me.
