ක්රියා කරයි 13: 44- 52

13:44	ඒත් ඇත්ත, ඊළඟ සබත් දවසේ, දෙවියන් වහන්සේගේ වචනය ඇසීමට මුළු නගරයම පාහේ රැස් වූහ.
13:45	එවිට යුදෙව්වන්, සෙනඟ දකිනවා, ඊර්ෂ්යාවෙන් පිරී සිටියහ, සහ ඔවුන්, අපහාස කරනවා, පාවුල් පැවසූ දේවලට පටහැනි විය.
13:46	එවිට පාවුල් සහ බානබස් තදින් කීවේය: “පළමුව ඔබට දෙවියන් වහන්සේගේ වචනය කථා කිරීම අවශ්‍ය විය. නමුත් ඔබ එය ප්‍රතික්ෂේප කරන නිසා, එබැවින් සදාකාල ජීවනයට නුසුදුසු යැයි ඔබම විනිශ්චය කරන්න, බලන්න, අපි අන්‍යජාතීන් වෙත හැරෙමු.
13:47	මන්ද, සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේ අපට උපදෙස් දී ඇත්තේ එලෙස ය: ‘මම ඔබව අන්‍යජාතීන්ට ආලෝකයක් ලෙස තැබුවෙමි, එවිට ඔබ පොළොවේ කෙළවර දක්වා ගැළවීම ගෙන එනු ඇත.
13:48	එවිට විජාතීන්, මේක අහපු ගමන්, සතුටු වූහ, ඔව්හු සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේගේ වචනය මහිමයට පත් කළහ. විශ්වාස කරන බොහෝ දෙනෙක් සදාකාල ජීවනයට පෙර නියම කර ඇත.
13:49	දැන් සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේගේ වචනය මුළු ප්‍රදේශය පුරාම ප්‍රචාරය විය.
13:50	නමුත් යුදෙව්වන් සමහර භක්තිවන්ත සහ අවංක කාන්තාවන් උසිගන්වන ලදී, සහ නගරයේ නායකයන්. ඔවුන් පාවුල්ට සහ බානබස්ට විරුද්ධව පීඩා ඇති කළා. තවද ඔවුහු ඔවුන්ගේ කොටස්වලින් ඔවුන්ව එළවා දැමූහ.

ජෝන් 14: 7- 14

14:7	If you had known me, certainly you would also have known my Father. And from now on, you shall know him, and you have seen him.”
14:8	Philip said to him, "සමිඳාණන්, reveal the Father to us, and it is enough for us.”
14:9	යේසුස් ඔහුට පැවසුවේය: “Have I been with you for so long, ඔබ මා හඳුනන්නේ නැත? Philip, whoever sees me, also sees the Father. කොහොමද කියන්නේ, ‘Reveal the Father to us?’
14:10	Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I am speaking to you, I do not speak from myself. But the Father abiding in me, he does these works.
14:11	Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?
14:12	Or else, believe because of these same works. ආමෙන්, ආමෙන්, මම ඔබට කියමි, whoever believes in me shall also do the works that I do. And greater things than these shall he do, for I go to the Father.
14:13	And whatever you shall ask the Father in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14:14	If you shall ask anything of me in my name, that I will do.

The Acts of the Apostles 13: 26-33

13:26	උතුම් සහෝදරවරුනි, ආබ්‍රහම්ගේ තොගයේ පුත්‍රයෝ ය, ඔබ අතර දෙවියන්ට ගරුබිය දක්වන අයද, මේ ගැළවීමේ වචනය එවා ඇත්තේ ඔබ වෙත ය.

13:33	යේසුස් වහන්සේව උත්ථාන කිරීමෙන් අපගේ දරුවන් සඳහා දෙවියන් වහන්සේ විසින් ඉටු කර ඇත, එය දෙවන ගීතිකාවේ ලියා ඇති ආකාරයටම: ‘ඔබ මගේ පුතා. අද මම ඔබව බිහි කළෙමි.’

14:1	“Do not let your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe in me also.
14:2	In my Father’s house, there are many dwelling places. If there were not, I would have told you. For I go to prepare a place for you.
14:3	And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will return again, and then I will take you to myself, so that where I am, you also may be.
14:4	And you know where I am going. And you know the way.”
14:5	Thomas said to him, "සමිඳාණන්, we do not know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

First Letter of Peter

5:5	ඒ හා සමානව, young persons, be subject to the elders. And infuse all humility among one another, for God resists the arrogant, but to the humble he gives grace.
5:6	ඉතිං මොක ද, be humbled under the powerful hand of God, so that he may exalt you in the time of visitation.
5:7	Cast all your cares upon him, for he takes care of you.
5:8	Be sober and vigilant. For your adversary, යක්ෂයා, is like a roaring lion, traveling around and seeking those whom he might devour.
5:9	Resist him by being strong in faith, being aware that the same passions afflict those who are your brothers in the world.
5:10	But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will himself perfect, confirm, and establish us, after a brief time of suffering.

ලකුණ 16: 15 – 20
