උත්පත්ති 3: 9- 15, 20

3:9	And the Lord God called Adam and said to him: “Where are you?”
3:10	ඒ වගේම ඔහු කිව්වා, “I heard your voice in Paradise, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and so I hid myself.”
3:11	ඔහු ඔහුට කීවේය, “Then who told you that you were naked, if you have not eaten of the tree from which I instructed you that you should not eat?”
3:12	And Adam said, “The woman, whom you gave to me as a companion, gave to me from the tree, and I ate.”
3:13	And the Lord God said to the woman, "ඇයි ඔයා මෙහෙම කරේ?” And she responded, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
3:14	And the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, you are cursed among all living things, even the wild beasts of the earth. Upon your breast shall you travel, and the ground shall you eat, all the days of your life.
3:15	I will put enmities between you and the woman, between your offspring and her offspring. She will crush your head, and you will lie in wait for her heel.”

3:20	And Adam called the name of his wife, ‘Eve,’ because she was the mother of all the living.

එපීසියානුවන් 1: 3- 6, 11- 12

1:3	අපගේ ස්වාමීන් වන ජේසුස් ක්‍රිස්තුන් වහන්සේගේ දෙවියන් වහන්සේ සහ පියාණන් වහන්සේට ආශීර්වාද වේ වා!, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens, in Christ,
1:4	just as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy and immaculate in his sight, in charity.
1:5	He has predestined us to adoption as sons, through Jesus Christ, in himself, according to the purpose of his will,
1:6	for the praise of the glory of his grace, with which he has gifted us in his beloved Son.

1:11	ඔහු තුළ, we too are called to our portion, having been predestined in accord with the plan of the One who accomplishes all things by the counsel of his will.
1:12	So may we be, to the praise of his glory, we who have hoped beforehand in Christ.

ලූක් 1: 26- 38

1:26	ඉන්පසු, හයවන මාසයේ, ගේබ්‍රියෙල් දේවදූතයා දෙවියන් වහන්සේ විසින් එවන ලදී, ගලීලයේ නාසරෙත් නම් නගරයට,
1:27	ජෝසප් නම් මිනිසෙකු සමඟ විවාහ ගිවිසගත් කන්යාවකට, දාවිත්ගේ වංශයෙන්; කන්‍යාවගේ නම මරියාය.
1:28	සහ ඇතුල් වූ පසු, දේවදූතයා ඇයට කීවේය: “ආයුබෝවන්, කරුණාවෙන් පිරී ඇත. සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේ ඔබ සමඟ ය. ඔබ ස්ත්‍රීන් අතර භාග්‍යවන්තයි.”
1:29	ඇය මෙය ඇසූ විට, ඔහුගේ වචනවලින් ඇය කලබල වූවාය, මෙය කුමන ආකාරයේ ආචාරයක් විය හැකිදැයි ඇය කල්පනා කළාය.
1:30	දේවදූතයා ඇයට මෙසේ කීවේය: "බයවෙන්න එපා, මරියා, මන්ද, ඔබට දෙවියන් වහන්සේගෙන් කරුණාව ලැබී ඇත.
1:31	බලන්න, ඔබ ඔබේ කුසෙහි පිළිසිඳ ගන්නෙහි ය, ඔබ පුතෙකු ලබන්නෙහි ය, ඔබ ඔහුගේ නම කියන්න: යේසුස් වහන්සේ.
1:32	ඔහු ශ්රේෂ්ඨ වනු ඇත, ඔහු මහෝත්තමයාණන්ගේ පුත්‍රයා යයි කියනු ලබන්නේ ය, සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේ ඔහුගේ පියා වූ දාවිත්ගේ සිංහාසනය ඔහුට දෙන සේක. ඔහු යාකොබ්ගේ වංශයේ සදාකාලයටම රජකම් කරන්නේය.
1:33	ඔහුගේ රාජ්‍යයට කෙළවරක් නොවන්නේය.”
1:34	එවිට මරියා දේවදූතයාට මෙසේ කීවාය, "මෙය සිදු කරන්නේ කෙසේද, මොකද මම දන්නේ නැහැ මිනිහෝ?”
1:35	සහ ප්රතිචාර වශයෙන්, දේවදූතයා ඇයට කීවේය: “ශුද්ධාත්මයාණන් ඔබ කෙරෙහි ගමන් කරයි, මහෝත්තමයාණන්ගේ බලය ඔබ යටපත් වන්නේය. ඒ වගේම මේ නිසා, ඔබෙන් උපදින ශුද්ධ තැනැත්තා දෙවියන් වහන්සේගේ පුත්‍රයා යයි කියනු ලැබේ.
1:36	හා බලන්න, ඔබේ ඥාති සොහොයුරිය වන එලිසබෙත් පුතෙකු පිළිසිඳගෙන ඇත, ඇගේ මහලු වියේදී. වඳ යයි කියන ඇයට මේ හයවෙනි මාසයයි.
1:37	මක්නිසාද දෙවියන් වහන්සේට කිසි වචනයක් කළ නොහැකි වනු ඇත.
1:38	එවිට මරියා මෙසේ කීවාය: “බලන්න, මම සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේගේ දාසිය වෙමි. ඔබේ වචනය ලෙස එය මට සිදු වේවා” කියායි. දේවදූතයා ඇයගෙන් ඉවත්ව ගියේය.
