කියවීම

උත්පත්ති 2: 18- 25

2:18 The Lord God also said: “It is not good for the man to be alone. Let us make a helper for him similar to himself.”

2:19 එබැවින්, දෙවි සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේ ය, having formed from the soil all the animals of the earth and all the flying creatures of the air, brought them to Adam, in order to see what he would call them. For whatever Adam would call any living creature, that would be its name.

2:20 And Adam called each of the living things by their names: all the flying creatures of the air, and all the wild beasts of the land. ඒත් ඇත්ත, for Adam, there was not found a helper similar to himself.

2:21 And so the Lord God sent a deep sleep upon Adam. And when he was fast asleep, he took one of his ribs, and he completed it with flesh for it.

2:22 And the Lord God built up the rib, which he took from Adam, into a woman. And he led her to Adam.

2:23 And Adam said: “Now this is bone from my bones, and flesh from my flesh. This one shall be called woman, because she was taken from man.”

2:24 මේ හේතුව නිසා, මිනිසෙක් තම පියා සහ මව හැර යා යුතුය, ඔහු තම බිරිඳට ඇලුම් කරන්නේය; and the two shall be as one flesh.

2:25 Now they were both naked: ආදම්, ඇත්ත වශයෙන්, and his wife. And they were not ashamed.

ලකුණ 7: 24-30

7:24	සහ නැඟිටිනවා, ඔහු එතැනින් තීර් සහ සීදොන් ප්‍රදේශයට ගියේය. සහ නිවසකට ඇතුල් වීම, කිසිවෙකු ඒ ගැන දැන නොගැනීමට ඔහු අදහස් කළේය, නමුත් ඔහුට සැඟවී සිටීමට නොහැකි විය.
7:25	තම දියණිය අශුද්ධාත්මයක් ඇති කාන්තාවක් සඳහා, ඇය ඔහු ගැන දැනගත් වහාම, ඇතුළු වී ඔහුගේ පාමුල වැඳ වැටුණේය.
7:26	මක්නිසාද ස්ත්‍රිය අන්‍යජාතිකයෙකි, උපතින් Syro-Phoenician කෙනෙක්. ඇය ඔහුට පෙත්සමක් ඉදිරිපත් කළාය, එවිට ඔහු ඇගේ දියණියගෙන් යක්ෂයා පලවා හරිනු ඇත.
7:27	ඔහු ඇයට මෙසේ කීවේය: “මුලින්ම පුතුන්ට තෘප්තිමත් වීමට ඉඩ දෙන්න. මක්නිසාද පුත්‍රයන්ගේ රොටි ඉවතට ගෙන බල්ලන්ට දැමීම හොඳ නැත.
7:28	නමුත් ඇය පිළිතුරු දුන්නේ ඔහුට මෙසේ කියමිනි: “අනිවාර්‍යෙන්ම, සමිඳාණන්. එහෙත් තරුණ බල්ලන් ද අනුභව කරති, මේසය යට, ළමයින්ගේ කෑලි වලින්."
7:29	ඔහු ඇයට මෙසේ කීවේය, “මේ කියමන නිසා, යන්න; යක්ෂයා ඔබේ දුවගෙන් දුරු වී ඇත.
7:30	සහ ඇය ඇගේ නිවසට ගිය විට, දැරිය ඇඳ මත වැතිර සිටිනු ඇය දුටුවාය; යක්‍ෂයා ගියා ය.
