රජවරුන්ගේ පළමු පොත 11: 29-32, 12: 19
11:29 | එය සිදු විය, ඒ වෙලාවේ, that Jeroboam departed from Jerusalem. And the prophet Ahijah, the Shilonite, wearing with a new cloak, found him on the way. And the two were alone in the field. |
11:30 | And taking his new cloak, with which he was covered, Ahijah tore it into twelve parts. |
11:31 | And he said to Jeroboam: “Take ten pieces for yourself. මන්ද, සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේ මෙසේ වදාරන සේක, ඉශ්රායෙල්ගේ දෙවියන් වහන්සේ ය: ‘බලන්න, I will tear the kingdom from the hand of Solomon, and I will give to you ten tribes. |
11:32 | Yet one tribe shall remain with him, for the sake of my servant, David, as well as Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel. |
12:19 |
And Israel drew away from the house of David, අද දක්වා පවා. |

ලකුණ 7: 31-37
7:31 | නැවතත්, තීර් දේශ සීමාවෙන් පිටත් වේ, ඔහු සීදොන් මාර්ගයෙන් ගලීල මුහුදට ගියේය, නගර දහය මැදින්. |
7:32 | ඔව්හු ගොළු බිහිරි කෙනෙකුව ඔහු ළඟට ගෙනාවෝය. ඔව්හු ඔහුගෙන් අයැද සිටියහ, එවිට ඔහු පිට අත තබනු ඇත. |
7:33 | සහ ඔහුව සමූහයාගෙන් ඉවතට ගෙන ගියේය, ඔහු තම ඇඟිලි ඔහුගේ කන් තුළට තැබුවේය; හා කෙළ ගැසීම, ඔහු දිව ස්පර්ශ කළේය. |
7:34 | ඒ වගේම අහස දිහා බලාගෙන ඉන්නවා, ඔහු කෙඳිරිගාමින් ඔහුට කීවේය: “එෆ්ෆාතා,” එනම්, "විවෘත කරන්න." |
7:35 | එකෙණෙහිම ඔහුගේ කන් විවෘත විය, ඔහුගේ දිවේ බාධාව නිදහස් විය, ඔහු නිවැරදිව කතා කළේය. |
7:36 | තවද කිසිවෙකුට නොකියන ලෙස ඔහු ඔවුන්ට උපදෙස් දුන්නේය. නමුත් ඔහු ඔවුන්ට උපදෙස් දුන් තරම්, ඔවුන් ඒ ගැන තවත් බොහෝ දේ දේශනා කළා. |
7:37 | සහ තවත් බොහෝ දේ ඔවුන් පුදුමයට පත් විය, කියමින්: “ඔහු සෑම දෙයක්ම හොඳින් කර ඇත. ඔහු බිහිරි අයට ඇසීමටත් ගොළු අයට කතා කිරීමටත් සැලැස්සුවේය.” |
