The Book of the Prophet Hosea 11:1-4, 8-9

11:1Just as the morning passes, so has the king of Israel passed by. For Israel was a child and I loved him; and out of Egypt I called my son.
11:2They called them, and so they departed before their face. They offered victims to the Baals, and they sacrificed to graven images.
11:3And I was like a foster father to Ephraim. I carried them in my arms. And they did not know that I healed them.
11:4I will draw them with the cords of Adam, with the bands of love. And I will be to them like one who raises the yoke over their jaws. And I will reach down to him so that he may eat.
11:8How will I provide for you, Ephraim; how will I protect you, ඊශ්රායෙල්? How will I provide for you as for Adam; will I set you like Zeboiim? My heart has changed within me; together with my regret, it has been stirred up.
11:9I will not act on the fury of my wrath. I will not turn back to utterly destroy Ephraim. මන්ද, මම දෙවියන් වහන්සේ ය, and not man, the Divine in your midst, and I will not advance upon the city.

මතෙව්ට අනුව ශුද්ධ වූ ශුභාරංචිය 10: 1-7

10:1සහ නැඟිටිනවා, ඔහු එතැනින් යොර්දාන් ගඟෙන් එතෙර වූ යුදයේ ප්‍රදේශයට ගියේය. නැවතත්, සමූහයා ඔහු ඉදිරියෙහි රැස් වූහ. ඒ වගේම එයා පුරුදු වෙලා හිටියා වගේ, නැවතත් ඔහු ඔවුන්ට ඉගැන්වූයේය.
10:2සහ ළඟා වෙමින්, පරිසිවරු ඔහුගෙන් ප්‍රශ්න කළහ, ඔහුව පරීක්ෂා කරනවා: “පුරුෂයෙකුට තම භාර්යාව සේවයෙන් පහ කිරීම නීත්‍යානුකූලද??”
10:3නමුත් ප්රතිචාර වශයෙන්, ඔහු ඔවුන්ට කීවේය, “මෝසෙස් ඔබට උපදෙස් දුන්නේ කුමක්ද??”
10:4තවද ඔවුහු පැවසූහ, "දික්කසාද පනතක් ලියා ඇයව සේවයෙන් පහ කිරීමට මෝසෙස් අවසර දුන්නේය."
10:5නමුත් යේසුස් පිළිතුරු දුන්නේ මෙසේය: “ඔබේ සිතේ දැඩිකම නිසා තමයි ඔහු ඔබට ඒ සිල් පදය ලිව්වේ.
10:6නමුත් නිර්මාණයේ ආරම්භයේ සිට, දෙවියන් වහන්සේ ඔවුන්ව පිරිමි සහ ගැහැණු ලෙස මැව්වා.
10:7මේ නිසා, මිනිසෙක් තම පියා සහ මව හැර යා යුතුය, ඔහු තම බිරිඳට ඇලුම් කරන්නේය.
