And when he had heard from Tirhakah, ඉතියෝපියාවේ රජු, කියමින්, “බලන්න, he has gone out so that he may fight against you,” and when he went forth against him, ඔහු හෙසකියා වෙතට පණිවිඩකරුවන් යැවීය, කියමින්: |

“So shall you say to Hezekiah, යූදාහි රජු: Let not your God, ඔබ විශ්වාස කරන අය, lead you astray. තවද ඔබ නොකිය යුතුය, ‘Jerusalem will not be delivered into the hands of the king of the Assyrians.’ |
| 19:11 |
For you yourself have heard what the kings of the Assyrians have done to all the lands, the manner in which they have laid waste to them. එබැවින්, how would you alone be able to be freed? |

Have the gods of the nations freed any of those whom my fathers have destroyed, such as Gozan, සහ හරන්, සහ රෙසෙෆ්, and the sons of Eden, who were at Telassar? |
| 19:13 |
Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, and of Hena, and of Avva?” |
| 19:14 |
ඉතිං මොක ද, when Hezekiah had received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and had read it, he ascended to the house of the Lord, and he spread it out before the Lord. |
| 19:15 |
And he prayed in his sight, කියමින්: “O Lord, God of Israel, who sits upon the cherubim, you alone are God, over all the kings of the earth. You made heaven and earth. |
| 19:16 |
ඔබේ කන ඇල කරන්න, සහ සවන් දෙන්න. Open your eyes, ස්වාමීනි, සහ බලන්න. සෙනකෙරිබ්ගේ සියලු වචන අසන්න, who sent so that he might reproach the living God before us. |

ඇත්ත වශයෙන්ම, ස්වාමීනි, the kings of the Assyrians have devastated all peoples and lands. |
| 19:18 |
ඔව්හු ඔවුන්ගේ දෙවිවරුන් ගින්නට දැමූහ. For they were not gods, but instead were the works of men’s hands, out of wood and stone. And so they destroyed them. |
| 19:19 |
දැන් ඉතින්, අපේ දෙවි සමිඳුනි, bring us salvation from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone are the Lord God.” |
| 19:20 |
Then Isaiah, ආමොස්ගේ පුත්රයාය, හෙසකියා වෙත යවන ලදී, කියමින්: “ස්වාමීන්වහන්සේ මෙසේ කියනසේක, ඉශ්රායෙල්ගේ දෙවියන් වහන්සේ ය: I have heard what you beseeched from me, concerning Sennacherib, ඇසිරියානුවන්ගේ රජ. |
| 19:21 |
This is the word that the Lord has spoken about him: The virgin daughter of Zion has spurned and ridiculed you. The daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head behind your back. |
| 19:31 |
ඇත්ත වශයෙන්ම, a remnant shall go forth from Jerusalem, and what may be saved shall go forth from mount Zion. සේනාවල ස්වාමීන්ගේ ජ්වලිතය මෙය ඉටු කරයි. |

මේ හේතුව නිසා, ඇසිරියානුවන්ගේ රජු ගැන සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේ මෙසේ පවසයි: He shall not enter into this city, එයට ඊතලයක් විදින්නේද නැත, nor overtake it with the shield, nor encircle it with fortifications. |

By the way that he came, so shall he return. And he shall not enter this city, සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේ පවසයි. |

තවද මම මේ නගරය ආරක්ෂා කරමි, and I will save it for my own sake, and for the sake of my servant David.” |
| 19:35 |
And so it happened that, in the same night, an Angel of the Lord went and struck down, ඇසිරියානුවන්ගේ කඳවුරේ, one hundred and eighty-five thousand. And when he had risen up, පළමු ආලෝකයේ දී, he saw all the bodies of the dead. And withdrawing, he went away. |
| 19:36 |
සහ සෙනකෙරිබ්, ඇසිරියානුවන්ගේ රජ, returned and dwelled in Nineveh. |
