කියවීම

The Acts of the Apostles 1: 1-11

1:1	නිසැකවම, ඕ තියෝෆිලස්, ජේසුස් වහන්සේ කරන්න පටන්ගත්තු සහ උගන්වපු හැම දෙයක්ම ගැන මම මුල්ම දේශනය හැදුවා,
1:2	අපොස්තුළුවරුන්ට උපදෙස් දීම, ඔහු ශුද්ධාත්මයාණන් කරණකොටගෙන තෝරාගත් තැනැත්තා ය, ඔහු රැගෙන ගිය දවස දක්වා පවා.
1:3	ඔහුද ඔවුන්ට ජීවමානව පෙනී සිටියේය, ඔහුගේ ආශාවෙන් පසුව, දවස් හතළිහක් මුළුල්ලේම ඔවුන්ට පෙනී සිටිමින් බොහෝ පැහැදිලි කිරීම් සමඟ දෙවියන් වහන්සේගේ රාජ්යය ගැන කතා කළේය.
1:4	ඒ වගේම ඔවුන් සමඟ ආහාර ගැනීම, යෙරුසලමෙන් පිටව නොයන ලෙස ඔහු ඔවුන්ට උපදෙස් දුන්නේය, නමුත් ඔවුන් පියාණන්ගේ පොරොන්දුව බලා සිටිය යුතුය, "ඔබ අසා ඇති දේ ගැන," ඔහු කිව්වා, "මගේ කටින්.
1:5	ජෝන් සඳහා, ඇත්ත වශයෙන්ම, ජලයෙන් බව්තීස්ම විය, නමුත් ඔබ ශුද්ධාත්මයාණන්ගෙන් බව්තීස්ම වනු ඇත, මෙතැන් සිට බොහෝ දින නොවේ."
1:6	එබැවින්, රැස්ව සිටි අය ඔහුගෙන් ප්‍රශ්න කළෝය, කියමින්, "සමිඳාණන්, ඔබ ඊශ්‍රායෙල් රාජ්‍යය යළි පිහිටුවන කාලය මෙයයි?”
1:7	නමුත් ඔහු ඔවුන්ට මෙසේ කීවේය: “වේලාවන් හෝ මොහොත දැන ගැනීම ඔබේ නොවේ, පියාණන් තමාගේම අධිකාරියෙන් පිහිටුවා ඇත.
1:8	නමුත් ඔබට ශුද්ධාත්මයාණන්ගේ බලය ලැබෙනු ඇත, ඔබ පසුකර යනවා, ඔබ යෙරුසලමේදී මා වෙනුවෙන් සාක්ෂිකරුවන් වන්නහුය, මුළු යුදයේ සහ සමාරියෙහි, පොළොවේ කෙළවර දක්වා පවා.”
1:9	ඔහු මේ දේවල් පැවසූ විට, ඔවුන් බලා සිටියදී, ඔහුව ඔසවන ලදී, වලාකුළක් ඔහුව ඔවුන් නොපෙනී ගියේය.
1:10	ඔහු ස්වර්ගයට යන ආකාරය ඔවුන් බලා සිටියදී, බලන්න, සුදු ඇඳුමින් සැරසුණු මිනිසුන් දෙදෙනෙක් ඔවුන් අසල සිටගෙන සිටියහ.
1:11	තවද ඔවුහු පැවසූහ: “ගලීලයේ මිනිසුන්, ඔබ අහස දෙස බලා මෙහි සිටගෙන සිටින්නේ මන්ද?? මේ යේසුස්, ඔබ කෙරෙන් ස්වර්ගයට ගෙන යන ලද්දේ ය, ඔහු ස්වර්ගයට යන බව ඔබ දුටු ආකාරයටම නැවත පැමිණෙනු ඇත.

දෙවන කියවීම

The Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians 1: 17-23

1:17	so that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give a spirit of wisdom and of revelation to you, in knowledge of him.
1:18	May the eyes of your heart be illuminated, so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and the wealth of the glory of his inheritance with the saints,
1:19	and the preeminent magnitude of his virtue toward us, toward we who believe in accord with the work of his powerful virtue,
1:20	which he wrought in Christ, raising him from the dead and establishing him at his right hand in the heavens,
1:21	above every principality and power and virtue and dominion, and above every name that is given, not only in this age, but even in the future age.
1:22	And he has subjected all things under his feet, and he has made him the head over the entire Church,
1:23	which is his body and which is the fullness of him who accomplishes everything in everyone.

The Holy Gospel According to to Matthew 28:16-20

28:16	Now the eleven disciples went on to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
28:17	සහ, ඔහුව දැකීම, they worshipped him, but certain ones doubted.
28:18	සහ යේසුස්, ළං වෙනවා, spoke to them, කියමින්: “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.
28:19	එබැවින්, go forth and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
28:20	teaching them to observe all that I have ever commanded you. හා බලන්න, I am with you always, even to the consummation of the age.”
