පළමු කියවීම

The Acts of the Apostles 2: 1-11

2:1 පෙන්තකොස්ත දවස සම්පූර්ණ වූ විට, ඔවුන් සියල්ලෝම එකම ස්ථානයක සිටියහ.

2:2 සහ හදිසියේම, අහසින් ශබ්දයක් ආවා, ප්‍රචණ්ඩ ලෙස ළං වන සුළඟක් මෙනි, එය ඔවුන් වාඩි වී සිටි මුළු නිවසම පිරී ගියේය.

2:3 තවද ඔවුන්ට වෙන වෙනම භාෂාවන් දර්ශනය විය, ගින්නක් මෙන්, ඔවුන් එක් එක් මත පදිංචි වූ.

2:4 තවද ඔවුන් සියල්ලෝම ශුද්ධාත්මයාණන්ගෙන් පිරී සිටියහ. ඒ වගේම ඔවුන් විවිධ භාෂාවලින් කතා කරන්න පටන්ගත්තා, ශුද්ධාත්මයාණන් වහන්සේ ඔවුන්ට කථිකත්වය ලබා දුන් සේම.

2:5 දැන් යෙරුසලමේ යුදෙව්වන් නැවතී සිටියා, ස්වර්ගයට යටින් සිටින සෑම ජාතියකටම අයත් භක්තිවන්ත මිනිසුන්.

2:6 සහ මෙම ශබ්දය ඇති වූ විට, සමූහයා එකතු වී මනස අවුල් විය, මක්නිසාද යත්, එකිනෙකා තම තමන්ගේ භාෂාවෙන් කතා කරන දේට සවන් දුන් බැවිනි.

2:7 එවිට සියල්ලෝම මවිත වූහ, ඔව්හු කල්පනා කළහ, කියමින්: “බලන්න, මේ සියල්ලෝම ගලීලයන් කතා කරන අය නොවේ?

2:8 අනික කොහොමද අපි එක එක්කෙනා ඒවා අපේම භාෂාවෙන් අහලා තියෙන්නේ, අපි ඉපදුනේ?

2:9 පාර්තියන් සහ මේදස් සහ එලමයිට්, සහ මෙසපොතේමියාවේ වාසය කරන අය, ජුදා සහ කපඩෝසියාව, පොන්ටස් සහ ආසියාව,

2:10 ෆ්‍රිජියා සහ පැම්ෆිලියා, ඊජිප්තුව සහ සයිරේන් අවට පිහිටි ලිබියාවේ කොටස්, සහ රෝමවරුන්ගේ නව පැමිණීම්,

2:11 එලෙසම යුදෙව්වන් සහ නව ආගමට හරවන්නන්, ක්රේටන්වරු සහ අරාබිවරු: ඔවුන් දෙවියන් වහන්සේගේ බලවත් ක්‍රියා අපේම භාෂාවෙන් කතා කරනවා අපි අසා ඇත්තෙමු.”

12:3 මේ නිසා, I would have you know that no one speaking in the Spirit of God utters a curse against Jesus. And no one is able to say that Jesus is Lord, except in the Holy Spirit.

12:4 ඇත්ත වශයෙන්ම, there are diverse graces, but the same Spirit.

12:5 And there are diverse ministries, but the same Lord.

12:6 And there are diverse works, but the same God, who works everything in everyone.

12:7 කෙසේ වුවද, the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one toward what is beneficial.

12:12 For just as the body is one, and yet has many parts, so all the parts of the body, ඔවුන් බොහෝ වුවද, are only one body. So also is Christ.

12:13 සහ ඇත්ත වශයෙන්ම, in one Spirit, we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether servant or free. And we all drank in the one Spirit.

The Holy Gospel According John 20: 19-23

20:19 ඉන්පසු, when it was late on the same day, on the first of the Sabbaths, and the doors were closed where the disciples were gathered, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, ඔහු ඔවුන්ට මෙසේ කීවේය: “Peace to you.”
