කියවීම

The Third Letter of Saint John 1: 5-8

1:5	වඩාත්ම ආදරණීය, ඔබ සහෝදරයන් වෙනුවෙන් කරන ඕනෑම දෙයක් විශ්වාසවන්තව කළ යුතුයි, සහ විදේශිකයන්;
1:6	ඔවුන් සභාව ඉදිරියෙහි ඔබේ පුණ්‍ය කටයුතුවලට සාක්ෂි දුන්හ. මේ අයව දෙවියන් වහන්සේ වෙතට ගෙනයාමට ඔබ හොඳය.
1:7	ඔවුන් පිටත් වූ නිසා, ඔහුගේ නම වෙනුවෙන්, නොඇදහිලිවන්තයන්ගෙන් කිසිවක් පිළිගන්නේ නැත.
1:8	එබැවින්, අපි මේ වගේ පිළිගත යුතුයි, අපට සත්‍යය සමඟ සහයෝගයෙන් කටයුතු කිරීමට හැකි වනු පිණිසය.

ශුභාරංචිය

ලූක්ට අනුව ශුද්ධ වූ ශුභාරංචිය 18: 1-8

18:1	Now he also told them a parable, that we should continually pray and not cease,
18:2	කියමින්: “There was a certain judge in a certain city, who did not fear God and did not respect man.
18:3	But there was a certain widow in that city, and she went to him, කියමින්, ‘Vindicate me from my adversary.’
18:4	And he refused to do so for a long time. නමුත් පසුව, he said within himself: ‘Even though I do not fear God, nor respect man,
18:5	yet because this widow is pestering me, I will vindicate her, lest by returning, she may, in the end, wear me out.’ ”
18:6	Then the Lord said: “Listen to what the unjust judge said.
18:7	ඉතින් එහෙනම්, will not God grant the vindication of his elect, who cry out to him day and night? Or will he continue to endure them?
18:8	I tell you that he will quickly bring vindication to them. ඒත් ඇත්ත, when the Son of man returns, do you think that he will find faith on earth?”
