කියවීම

The Letter of Saint Paul to the Galatians 5: 1-6

5:1	ස්ථිරව සිටින්න, and do not be willing to be again held by the yoke of servitude.
5:2	බලන්න, මම, පෝල්, say to you, that if you have been circumcised, Christ will be of no benefit to you.
5:3	For I again testify, about every man circumcising himself, that he is obligated to act according to the entire law.
5:4	You are being emptied of Christ, you who are being justified by the law. You have fallen from grace.
5:5	For in spirit, by faith, we await the hope of justice.
5:6	For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision prevails over anything, but only faith which works through charity.

ශුභාරංචිය

ලූක්ට අනුව ශුද්ධ වූ ශුභාරංචිය 11: 37-41

11:37	සහ ඔහු කතා කරමින් සිටියදී, එක්තරා පරිසිවරයෙක් ඔහු සමඟ කෑම කන්න කියා ඔහුගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියේය. සහ ඇතුලට යනවා, ඔහු කෑමට වාඩි විය.
11:38	නමුත් පරිසිවරයා කියන්නට පටන්ගත්තේය, තමා තුළම සිතමින්: “ඇයි ඔහු කෑමට පෙර සෝදා නැත?”
11:39	සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේ ඔහුට මෙසේ වදාළ සේක: “අද පරිසිවරුනි, ඔබ කුසලානෙන් හා පිඟානෙන් පිටත තිබෙන දේ පිරිසිදු කරන්න, එහෙත් ඔබ තුළ ඇති දේ කොල්ලකමින් හා අයුතුකම්වලින් පිරී තිබේ.
11:40	මෝඩයෝ! පිටත ඇති දේ සෑදූ තැනැත්තා නොවේ, ඇත්ත වශයෙන්ම ඇතුළත ඇති දේ ද සාදන්න?
11:41	ඒත් ඇත්ත, උඩ තියෙන දේ දානයක් විදියට දෙන්න, සහ බලන්න, සියල්ල ඔබට පිරිසිදු ය.
