| 8:1 |
එබැවින්, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who are not walking according to the flesh. |

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed me from the law of sin and death. |
| 8:3 |
For though this was impossible under the law, because it was weakened by the flesh, God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and because of sin, in order to condemn sin in the flesh, |

so that the justification of the law might be fulfilled in us. For we are not walking according to the flesh, but according to the spirit. |
| 8:5 |
For those who are in agreement with the flesh are mindful of the things of the flesh. But those who are in agreement with the spirit are mindful of the things of the spirit. |
| 8:6 |
For the prudence of the flesh is death. But the prudence of the spirit is life and peace. |
| 8:7 |
And the wisdom of the flesh is inimical to God. For it is not subject to the law of God, nor can it be. |

එබැවින් මාංසයේ සිටින අයට දෙවියන් වහන්සේ සතුටු කිරීමට නොහැකි ය. |
| 8:9 |
තවද ඔබ මාංසයේ නොවේ, නමුත් ආත්මය තුළ, දෙවියන් වහන්සේගේ ආත්මය ඔබ තුළ ජීවත් වන බව සත්‍ය නම්. නමුත් යමෙකුට ක්‍රිස්තුස්වහන්සේගේ ආත්මය නැත්නම්, ඔහු ඔහුට අයිති නැත. |

නමුත් ක්‍රිස්තුස් ඔබ තුළ සිටී නම්, එවිට ශරීරය ඇත්තෙන්ම මිය ගොස් ඇත, පාපය සම්බන්ධයෙන්, නමුත් ආත්මය සැබවින්ම ජීවත් වේ, සාධාරණීකරණය නිසා. |

නමුත් යේසුස්ව මළවුන්ගෙන් උත්ථාන කළ තැනැත්තාගේ ආත්මය ඔබ තුළ ජීවත් වන්නේ නම්, එවිට යේසුස් ක්‍රිස්තුස්ව මළවුන්ගෙන් උත්ථාන කළ තැනැත්තා ඔබේ මරණීය ශරීරද ප්‍රාණවත් කරන්නේය, ඔබ තුළ ජීවත් වන ඔහුගේ ආත්මය මාර්ගයෙන්. |
