කියවීම

පළමු කොරින්ති 10: 14-22

10:14 මේ නිසා, most beloved of mine, flee from the worship of idols.

10:15 Since I am speaking to those who are prudent, judge what I say for yourselves.

10:16 The cup of benediction that we bless, is it not a communion in the Blood of Christ? And the bread that we break, is it not a participation in the Body of the Lord?

10:17 Through the one bread, අප, though many, are one body: all of us who are partakers of the one bread.

10:18 Consider Israel, according to the flesh. Are not those who eat from the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

10:19 ඊළඟ කුමක්ද? Should I say that what is immolated to idols is anything? Or that the idol is anything?

10:20 But the things that the Gentiles immolate, they immolate to demons, and not to God. And I do not want you to become partakers with demons.

10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of demons. You cannot be partakers of the table of the Lord, and partakers of the table of demons.

10:22 Or should we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he is? All is lawful to me, but not all is expedient.

ලූක් 6: 43-49

6:43 මක්නිසාද නරක පල දරන හොඳ ගසක් නැත, නරක ගසක් හොඳ පල නොදරයි. 6:44 මක්නිසාද යත්, සෑම ගසක්ම එහි ඵලවලින් හඳුනයි. මක්නිසාද ඔව්හු කටුවලින් අත්තික්කා එකතු නොකරති, ඔවුන් මිදි පඳුරෙන් මිදි එකතු කරන්නේවත් නැත.

6:45 හොඳ මනුස්සයෙක්, ඔහුගේ හදවතේ හොඳ ගබඩාවෙන්, හොඳ දේ ඉදිරිපත් කරයි. ඒ වගේම නපුරු මනුස්සයෙක්, නපුරු ගබඩාවෙන්, නරක දේ ඉදිරිපත් කරයි. මක්නිසාද යත් හදවතේ බහුලත්වය නිසා ය, මුඛය කතා කරයි.

6:46 ඒත් ඇයි මට කතා කරන්නේ, 'සමිඳාණන්, සමිඳාණන්,'මම කියන දේ කරන්න එපා?

\6:47 මගේ ළඟට එන ඕනෑම කෙනෙක්, මාගේ වචනවලට සවන් දෙයි, සහ ඒවා කරයි: ඔහු කෙබඳු දැයි මම ඔබට හෙළි කරමි.

6:48 ඔහු ගෙයක් හදන මිනිසෙක් මෙනි, ගැඹුරට හාරා, පර්වතය මත අත්තිවාරම දමා ඇත. ඉන්පසු, ගංවතුර පැමිණි විට, ගඟ එම නිවස දෙසට වේගයෙන් ගලා ආවේය, එය චලනය කිරීමට නොහැකි විය. මන්ද එය පර්වතය මත පිහිටුවා තිබිණ.

6:49 නමුත් කවුරුන් ඇසූවත් කරන්නේ නැත: ඔහු පස් මත තම නිවස ගොඩනඟන මිනිසෙකුට සමාන ය, පදනමක් නොමැතිව. ගඟ ඊට එරෙහිව වේගයෙන් දිව ගියේය, එය ඉක්මනින්ම බිම වැටුණි, ඒ ගෙයි විනාශය මහත් විය.”
