Lettura

Atti degli Apostoli 4: 13-21

4:13	Poi, vedendo la costanza di Pietro e Giovanni, avendo verificato che erano uomini senza lettere né cultura, si chiedevano. E riconobbero che erano stati con Gesù.
4:14	Anche, vedendo stare con loro l'uomo che era stato guarito, non erano in grado di dire nulla per contraddirli.
4:15	Ma ordinarono loro di ritirarsi fuori, lontano dal consiglio, e conferivano tra loro,
4:16	detto: “Cosa dobbiamo fare a questi uomini? Perché certamente un segno pubblico è stato fatto attraverso di loro, davanti a tutti gli abitanti di Gerusalemme. È manifesto, e non possiamo negarlo.
4:17	Ma per timore che si diffondesse ulteriormente tra la gente, minacciamoli di non parlare più in questo nome a nessun uomo».
4:18	E chiamandoli dentro, li avvertirono di non parlare o insegnare affatto nel nome di Gesù.
4:19	Eppure veramente, Pietro e Giovanni dissero in risposta a loro: “Giudica se è giusto agli occhi di Dio ascoltarti, piuttosto che a Dio.
4:20	Poiché non possiamo trattenerci dal dire le cose che abbiamo visto e udito”.
4:21	Ma loro, minacciandoli, mandarli via, non avendo trovato un modo per punirli a causa del popolo. Perché tutti stavano glorificando le cose che erano state fatte in questi eventi.

The Holy Gospel According to Mark 16: 9-15

16:9	But he, rising early on the first Sabbath, appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.
16:10	She went and announced it to those who had been with him, while they were mourning and weeping.
16:11	And they, upon hearing that he was alive and that he had been seen by her, did not believe it.
16:12	But after these events, he was shown in another likeness to two of them walking, as they were going out to the countryside.
16:13	And they, returning, reported it to the others; neither did they believe them.
16:14	Finally, he appeared to the eleven, as they sat at table. And he rebuked them for their incredulity and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen that he had risen again.
16:15	E disse loro: “Go forth to the whole world and preach the Gospel to every creature.
