1:26	Quindi prenditi cura della tua vocazione, fratelli. Poiché non molti sono saggi secondo la carne, non molti sono potenti, non molti sono nobili.
1:27	Ma Dio ha scelto gli stolti del mondo, per confondere i saggi. E Dio ha scelto i deboli del mondo, per confondere i forti.
1:28	E Dio ha scelto l'ignobile e lo spregevole del mondo, quelli che non sono niente, affinché riduca a nulla coloro che sono qualcosa.
1:29	Allora, nulla di ciò che è carnale dovrebbe gloriarsi ai suoi occhi.
1:30	Ma voi siete da lui in Cristo Gesù, che è stato fatto da Dio per essere la nostra saggezza e giustizia e santificazione e redenzione.
1:31	E così, nello stesso modo, è stato scritto: “Chi si gloria, dovrebbe gloriarsi nel Signore”.

25:14	For it is like a man setting out on a long journey, who called his servants and delivered to them his goods.
25:15	And to one he gave five talents, and to another two, yet to another he gave one, to each according to his own ability. And promptly, he set out.
25:16	Then he who had received five talents went out, and he made use of these, and he gained another five.
25:17	And similarly, he who had received two gained another two.
25:18	But he who had received one, going out, dug into the earth, and he hid the money of his lord.
25:19	Eppure veramente, after a long time, the lord of those servants returned and he settled accounts with them.
25:20	And when he who had received five talents approached, he brought another five talents, detto: ‘Lord, you delivered five talents to me. Ecco, I have increased it by another five.’
