Lettura

The First Letter to the Corinthians 12: 12-14, 27-31

12:12 Perché proprio come il corpo è uno, eppure ha molte parti, quindi tutte le parti del corpo, anche se sono molti, sono un solo corpo. Così è anche Cristo.

12:13 E senza dubbio, in un solo Spirito, siamo stati tutti battezzati in un solo corpo, se giudei o gentili, se servo o libero. E noi tutti abbiamo bevuto nell'unico Spirito.

12:14 Per il corpo, pure, non è una parte, ma molti.

12:27 Ora sei il corpo di Cristo, e parti come qualsiasi parte.

12:28 E senza dubbio, Dio ha stabilito un certo ordine nella Chiesa: primi Apostoli, secondo Profeti, terzo Insegnanti, prossimi operatori di miracoli, e poi la grazia della guarigione, di aiutare gli altri, di governare, di diversi tipi di linguaggi, e dell'interpretazione delle parole.

12:29 Sono tutti Apostoli? Sono tutti Profeti? Sono tutti Insegnanti?

12:30 Sono tutti operatori di miracoli? Tutti hanno la grazia della guarigione? Parlate tutti in lingue? Tutti interpretano?

12:31 Ma siate zelanti per i carismi migliori. E ti rivelo un modo ancora più eccellente.

Il santo Vangelo secondo Luca 7: 11-17

7:11	And it happened afterwards that he went to a city, which is called Nain. And his disciples, and an abundant crowd, went with him.
7:12	Poi, when he had drawn near to the gate of the city, ecco, a deceased person was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her.
7:13	And when the Lord had seen her, being moved by mercy over her, he said to her, “Do not weep.”
7:14	And he drew near and touched the coffin. Then those who carried it stood still. E lui ha detto, “Young man, Ti dico, arise.”
7:15	And the dead youth sat up and began to speak. And he gave him to his mother.
7:16	Then fear fell over all of them. And they magnified God, detto: “For a great prophet has risen up among us,” and, “For God has visited his people.”
7:17	And this word about him went out to all of Judea and to the entire surrounding region.
