En lisant

The Acts of the Apostles 5: 34-42

5:34	Mais quelqu'un au conseil, un pharisien nommé Gamaliel, un maître de la loi honoré par tout le peuple, s'est levé et a ordonné que les hommes soient brièvement mis à l'extérieur.
5:35	Et il leur dit: "Hommes d'Israël, vous devriez être prudent dans vos intentions à propos de ces hommes.
5:36	Avant ces jours, Theudas s'avança, s'affirmer être quelqu'un, et un certain nombre d'hommes, environ quatre cents, rejoint avec lui. Mais il a été tué, et tous ceux qui croyaient en lui furent dispersés, et ils ont été réduits à néant.
5:37	Après celui-ci, Judas le Galiléen s'avança, dans les jours de l'inscription, et il a tourné le peuple vers lui. Mais il a aussi péri, et tous, autant de personnes qui s'étaient jointes à lui, ont été dispersés.
5:38	Et maintenant donc, je te dis, retirez-vous de ces hommes et laissez-les seuls. Car si ce conseil ou ce travail vient des hommes, il sera cassé.
5:39	Pourtant vraiment, si c'est de Dieu, vous ne pourrez pas le casser, et peut-être se trouverait-il que vous ayez combattu Dieu. Et ils étaient d'accord avec lui.
5:40	Et appelant les Apôtres, les avoir battus, ils les ont avertis de ne pas parler du tout au nom de Jésus. Et ils les ont renvoyés.
5:41	Et en effet, ils sortirent de la présence du conseil, se réjouissant qu'ils aient été jugés dignes de subir l'insulte au nom de Jésus.
5:42	Et chaque jour, dans le temple et parmi les maisons, ils n'ont cessé d'enseigner et d'évangéliser le Christ Jésus.

The Holy Gospel According to John 6: 1-15

6:1	Après ces choses, Jesus traveled across the sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.
6:2	And a great multitude was following him, for they saw the signs that he was accomplishing toward those who were infirm.
6:3	Donc, Jesus went onto a mountain, and he sat down there with his disciples.
6:4	Now the Passover, the feast day of the Jews, was near.
6:5	Et ainsi, when Jesus had lifted up his eyes and had seen that a very great multitude came to him, he said to Philip, “From where should we buy bread, so that these may eat?”
6:6	But he said this to test him. For he himself knew what he would do.
6:7	Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii of bread would not be sufficient for each of them to receive even a little.”
6:8	One of his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, lui dit:
6:9	“There is a certain boy here, who has five barley loaves and two fish. But what are these among so many?”
6:10	Then Jesus said, “Have the men sit down to eat.” Now, there was much grass in that place. And so the men, in number about five thousand, sat down to eat.
6:11	Donc, Jesus took the bread, and when he had given thanks, he distributed it to those who were sitting down to eat; de même aussi, from the fish, as much as they wanted.
6:12	Alors, when they were filled, he said to his disciples, “Gather the fragments that are left over, lest they be lost.”
6:13	And so they gathered, and they filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which were left over from those who had eaten.
6:14	Donc, those men, when they had seen that Jesus had accomplished a sign, ils ont dit, "Vraiment, this one is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”
6:15	Et ainsi, when he realized that they were going to come and take him away and make him king, Jesus fled back to the mountain, by himself alone.
