The Book of the Prophet Ezekiel 24: 15-24

24:15	And the word of the Lord came to me, en disant:
24:16	"Le fils de l'homme, voir, I am taking away from you, with a stroke, the desire of your eyes. And you shall not lament, and you shall not weep. And your tears shall not flow down.
24:17	Groan silently; you shall make no mourning for the dead. Let the band of your crown be on you, and let your shoes be on your feet. And you shall not cover your face, nor shall you eat the food of those who mourn.”
24:18	Donc, I spoke to the people in the morning. And my wife died in the evening. Et le matin, I did just as he had instructed me.
24:19	And the people said to me: “Why won’t you explain to us what these things signify, which you are doing?”
24:20	Et je leur ai dit: “The word of the Lord came to me, en disant:
24:21	‘Speak to the house of Israel: Ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu: Voir, I will defile my sanctuary, the pride of your realm, and the desire of your eyes, and the dread of your soul. Your sons and your daughters, whom you have forsaken, will fall by the sword.’
24:22	Et ainsi, you shall do just as I have done. You shall not cover your faces, and you shall not eat the food of those who mourn.
24:23	You shall have crowns on your heads, and shoes on your feet. You shall not lament, and you shall not weep. Plutôt, you will waste away in your iniquities, and each one will groan to his brother.
24:24	‘And Ezekiel shall be a portent for you. In accord with all that he has done, so shall you do, when this will happen. And you shall know that I am the Lord God.’ ”

Gospel

Le Saint Evangile selon Matthieu 19: 16-22

19:16	Et voici, quelqu'un s'est approché et lui a dit, "Bon enseignant, à quoi bon dois-je faire, pour que j'aie la vie éternelle?”
19:17	Et il lui dit: "Pourquoi me questionnez-vous sur ce qui est bien? L'un est bon: Dieu. Mais si tu veux entrer dans la vie, observez les commandements.
19:18	Il lui a dit, "Qui?" Et Jésus dit: "Tu ne tueras pas. Tu ne doit pas commettre d'adultère. Tu ne voleras pas. Tu ne feras pas de faux témoignage.
19:19	Honorez votre père et votre mère. Et, tu aimeras ton prochain comme toi-même.
19:20	Le jeune homme lui dit: "Tout cela, je l'ai gardé de mon enfance. Ce qui me manque encore?”
19:21	Jésus lui dit: "Si vous êtes prêt à être parfait, aller, vends ce que tu as, et donner aux pauvres, et alors tu auras un trésor dans le ciel. Et viens, suis-moi."
19:22	Et quand le jeune homme eut entendu ce mot, il est parti triste, car il avait beaucoup de biens.
