Le livre du prophète Isaïe 2:1-5

2:1 The word that Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2:2 And in the last days, the mountain of the house of the Lord will be prepared at the summit of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills, and all the nations shall flow to it.
2:3 And many peoples will go, and they will say: “Let us approach and ascend to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob. And he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
2:4 And he will judge the nations, and he will rebuke many peoples. And they shall forge their swords into plowshares, and their spears into sickles. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they continue to train for battle.
2:5 O house of Jacob, let us approach and walk in the light of the Lord.

Le Saint Evangile selon Matthieu 8: 5-11

8:5 And when he had entered into Capernaum, a centurion approached, petitioning him,
8:6 et dire, "Seigneur, my servant lies at home paralyzed and badly tormented.”
8:7 Et Jésus lui dit, “I will come and heal him.”
8:8 Et répondre, the centurion said: "Seigneur, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant shall be healed.
8:9 Pour moi, aussi, am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
8:10 Et, entendre ça, Jesus wondered. And he said to those following him: « Amen je te dis, I have not found so great a faith in Israel.
8:11 Car je te dis, that many shall come from the east and the west, and they shall sit at table with Abraham, et Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
