En lisant

The Letter of Saint Paul to the Philippians 4: 10-19

4:10	Maintenant, je me réjouis extrêmement dans le Seigneur, parce qu'enfin, après quelque temps, tes sentiments pour moi se sont à nouveau épanouis, tout comme tu le sentais autrefois. Car tu avais été préoccupé.
4:11	Je ne dis pas ça comme par nécessité. Car j'ai appris que, dans quel état je me trouve, c'est suffisant.
4:12	Je sais comment être humble, et je sais comment abonder. je suis prêt à tout, n'importe où: soit pour être rassasié, soit pour avoir faim, soit pour avoir l'abondance, soit pour endurer la pénurie.
4:13	Tout est possible en celui qui m'a fortifié.
4:14	Pourtant vraiment, tu as bien fait en partageant ma tribulation.
4:15	Mais tu sais aussi, Ô Philippiens, qu'au début de l'Évangile, quand je suis parti de Macédoine, pas une seule église n'a partagé avec moi le plan de donner et de recevoir, sauf toi seul.
4:16	Car tu as même été envoyé à Thessalonique, une fois, et puis une deuxième fois, pour ce qui m'a été utile.
4:17	Ce n'est pas que je cherche un cadeau. Plutôt, Je cherche le fruit qui abonde pour ton bénéfice.
4:18	Mais j'ai tout en abondance. j'ai été rempli, ayant reçu d'Épaphrodite les choses que tu as envoyées; c'est une odeur de douceur, un sacrifice acceptable, agréable à Dieu.
4:19	Et que mon Dieu exauce tous tes désirs, selon ses richesses en gloire en Jésus-Christ.

Gospel

The Holy Gospel According to Luke 16: 9-15

16:9	And so I say to you, make friends for yourself using iniquitous mammon, de sorte que, when you will have passed away, they may receive you into the eternal tabernacles.
16:10	Whoever is faithful in what is least, is also faithful in what is greater. And whoever is unjust in what is small, is also unjust in what is greater.
16:11	Donc alors, if you have not been faithful with iniquitous mammon, who will trust you with what is true?
16:12	And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to another, who will give you what is yours?
16:13	No servant is able to serve two lords. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will cling to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
16:14	Mais les pharisiens, who were greedy, were listening to all these things. And they ridiculed him.
16:15	Et il leur dit: “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the sight of men. But God knows your hearts. For what is lifted up by men is an abomination in the sight of God.
