Première lecture

Ézéchiel 8: 25-28

18:25 And you have said, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ Therefore, écouter, Ô maison d'Israël. How could it be that my way is not fair? And is it not instead your ways that are perverse?

18:26 For when the just man turns himself away from his justice, and commits iniquity, he shall die by this; by the injustice that he has worked, he shall die.

18:27 And when the impious man turns himself away from his impiety, ce qu'il a fait, and accomplishes judgment and justice, he shall cause his own soul to live.

18:28 For by considering and turning himself away from all his iniquities, which he has worked, he shall certainly live, and he shall not die.

Deuxième lecture

Philippiens 2: 1-11

2:1 Donc, s'il y a une consolation en Christ, toute consolation de charité, toute communion de l'Esprit, tout sentiment de commisération:

2:2 complète ma joie en ayant la même compréhension, s'en tenir à la même charité, être d'un même avis, avec le même sentiment.

2:3 Que rien ne se fasse par contestation, ni en vaine gloire. Plutôt, en humilité, que chacun de vous estime que les autres sont meilleurs que lui.

2:4 Que chacun de vous ne considère rien comme étant le vôtre, mais plutôt d'appartenir aux autres.

2:5 Car cette compréhension en vous était aussi en Jésus-Christ:

2:6 OMS, même s'il était sous la forme de Dieu, ne considérait pas l'égalité avec Dieu comme quelque chose à saisir.

2:7 Plutôt, il s'est vidé, prenant la forme d'un serviteur, étant fait à l'image des hommes, et accepter l'état d'homme.

2:8 Il s'est humilié, devenir obéissant même jusqu'à la mort, même la mort de la Croix.

2:9 À cause de ce, Dieu l'a aussi exalté et lui a donné un nom qui est au-dessus de tout nom,

2:10 de sorte que, au nom de Jésus, chaque genou fléchirait, de ceux qui sont au paradis, de ceux sur terre, et de ceux qui sont en enfer,

2:11 et pour que toute langue confesse que le Seigneur Jésus-Christ est dans la gloire de Dieu le Père.

Gospel

Matthieu 21: 28-32

21:28 But how does it seem to you? A certain man had two sons. And approaching the first, il a dit: ‘Son, go out today to work in my vineyard.’

21:29 Et répondre, il a dit, ‘I am not willing.’ But afterwards, being moved by repentance, il est venu.

21:30 And approaching the other, he spoke similarly. And answering, il a dit, ‘I am going, lord.’ And he did not go.

21:31 Which of the two did the will of the father?" Ils lui ont dit, “The first.” Jesus said to them: « Amen je te dis, that tax collectors and prostitutes shall precede you, into the kingdom of God.

21:32 For John came to you in the way of justice, and you did not believe him. But the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. Yet even after seeing this, you did not repent, so as to believe him.
