Ang Banal na Ebanghelyo Ayon kay Marcos 10: 17-27

10:17 And when he had departed on the way, a certain one, running up and kneeling before him, asked him, "Magaling na guro, what shall I do, so that I may secure eternal life?”
10:18 Ngunit sinabi ni Hesus sa kanya, “Why call me good? No one is good except the one God.
10:19 You know the precepts: “Do not commit adultery. Do not kill. Do not steal. Do not speak false testimony. Do not deceive. Honor your father and mother.”
10:20 But in response, sabi niya sa kanya, "Guro, all these I have observed from my youth.”
10:21 Tapos si Hesus, nakatingin sa kanya, minahal siya, at sinabi niya sa kanya: “One thing is lacking to you. Pumunta ka, sell whatever you have, at ibigay sa mahihirap, at pagkatapos ay magkakaroon ka ng kayamanan sa langit. At halika, Sundan mo ako."
10:22 But he went away grieving, having been greatly saddened by the word. For he had many possessions.
10:23 At si Hesus, tumitingin sa paligid, sabi sa kanyang mga alagad, “How difficult it is for those who have riches to enter into the kingdom of God!”
10:24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. Ngunit si Hesus, answering again, sabi sa kanila: “Little sons, how difficult it is for those who trust in money to enter into the kingdom of God!
10:25 It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for the rich to enter into the kingdom of God.”
10:26 And they wondered even more, saying among themselves, "WHO, pagkatapos, can be saved?”
10:27 At si Hesus, nakatingin sa kanila, sabi: “With men it is impossible; ngunit hindi sa Diyos. For with God all things are possible.”
