Pagbasa

The Book of the Prophet Daniel 7: 9-10, 13-14

7:9	I watched until thrones were set up, and the ancient of days sat down. His garment was radiant like snow, and the hair of his head like clean wool; his throne was flames of fire, its wheels had been set on fire.
7:10	A river of fire rushed forth from his presence. Thousands upon thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand times hundreds of thousands attended before him. The trial began, and the books were opened.
7:13	I watched, busa, in the vision of the night, ug tan-awa, with the clouds of heaven, one like a son of man arrived, and he approached all the way to the ancient of days, and they presented him before him.
7:14	And he gave him power, ug dungog, and the kingdom, ug ang tanang katawhan, tribes, and languages will serve him. His power is an eternal power, which will not be taken away, and his kingdom, one which will not be corrupted.

The Second Letter of Saint Peter 1: 16-19

1:16	For it was not by following fanciful doctrines that we made known to you the power and presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were made eyewitnesses of his greatness.
1:17	For he received honor and glory from God the Father, whose voice descended to him from the magnificent glory: “Kini mao ang akong pinalanggang Anak, in whom I am well pleased. Paminaw kaniya.”
1:18	We also heard this voice conveyed from heaven, when we were with him on the holy mountain.
1:19	Unya, we have an even firmer prophetic word, to which you would do well to listen, as to a light shining within a dark place, until the day dawns, and the daystar rises, in your hearts.

Ang Balaang Ebanghelyo Sumala kang Marcos 9: 2-10

9:2	Ug ang iyang mga saput nahimong masanag ug hilabihan ka puti sama sa nieve, uban sa usa ka kahayag nga walay fuller sa yuta makahimo sa pagkab-ot.
9:3	Ug didto nagpakita kanila si Elias uban ni Moises; ug nakigsulti sila kang Jesus.
9:4	Ug sa pagtubag, Si Pedro miingon kang Jesus: “Magtutudlo, maayo nga ania kami dinhi. Ug busa maghimo kita ug tulo ka tabernakulo, usa para nimo, ug usa alang kang Moises, ug usa alang kang Elias.”
9:5	Kay wala siya masayod sa iyang gisulti. Kay sila nalumsan sa kahadlok.
9:6	Ug dihay panganod nga mitabon kanila. Ug gikan sa panganod migula ang usa ka tingog, nag-ingon: “Kini mao ang akong pinalanggang Anak. Paminaw kaniya.”
9:7	Ug diha-diha dayon, nagtan-aw sa palibot, wala na silay nakitang tawo, gawas kang Jesus lamang uban kanila.
9:8	Ug samtang nanglugsong sila gikan sa bukid, gimandoan niya sila nga dili isugilon kang bisan kinsa ang ilang nakita, hangtod nga ang Anak sa tawo mabanhaw gikan sa mga patay.
9:9	Ug ilang gitipigan ang pulong sa ilang kaugalingon, nga naglalis kon unsay ipasabot sa “human siya mabanhaw gikan sa mga patay”..
9:10	Ug sila nangutana kaniya, nag-ingon: “Nan nganong nag-ingon man ang mga Pariseo ug ang mga eskriba nga kinahanglang moabot una si Elias?”
