And he began to speak to them in parables: “A man dug a vineyard, ug gilibutan kini sa usa ka koral, and dug a pit, ug nagtukod ug tore, and he loaned it out to farmers, and he set out on a long journey. |

And in time, he sent a servant to the farmers, in order to receive some of the fruit of the vineyard from the farmers. |

Apan sila, having apprehended him, beat him and sent him away empty. |
| 12:4 |
Ug pag-usab, he sent another servant to them. And they wounded him on the head, and they treated him with contempt. |
| 12:5 |
Ug pag-usab, he sent another, and him they killed, and many others: some they beat, but others they killed. |
| 12:6 |
Busa, having still one son, most dear to him, he sent him also to them, sa katapusan, nag-ingon, ‘For they will reverence my son.’ |
| 12:7 |
But the settlers said one to another: ‘Kini mao ang manununod. Dali, patyon ta siya. And then the inheritance will be ours.’ |
| 12:8 |
Ug gidakop siya, they killed him. And they cast him out of the vineyard. |
| 12:9 |
Busa, what will the lord of the vineyard do?” “He will come and destroy the settlers. And he will give the vineyard to others.” |
| 12:10 |
"Unya, have you not read this scripture?: ‘The stone which the builders have rejected, the same has been made the head of the corner. |
| 12:11 |
Pinaagi sa Ginoo kini nahimo, and it is wondrous in our eyes.’ ” |
| 12:12 |
And they sought to take hold of him, but they feared the crowd. For they knew that he had spoken this parable about them. And leaving him behind, nanglakaw sila. |
| 12:13 |
And they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to him, so that they might trap him with words. |
| 12:14 |
Ug kini, pag-abot, miingon kaniya: "Magtutudlo, we know that you are truthful and that you do not favor anyone; for you do not consider the appearance of men, but you teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to give the tribute to Caesar, or should we not give it?” |
| 12:15 |
And knowing their skill in deception, siya miingon kanila: “Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, so that I may see it.” |
| 12:16 |
And they brought it to him. Ug siya miingon kanila, “Whose image and inscription is this?” Sila miingon kaniya, “Caesar’s.” |
| 12:17 |
So in response, Miingon si Jesus kanila, “Then render to Caesar, the things that are of Caesar; and to God, the things that are of God.” And they wondered over him. |

And the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, miduol kaniya. Ug sila nangutana kaniya, nag-ingon: |

"Magtutudlo, Moses wrote for us that if any man’s brother will have died and left behind a wife, and not have left behind sons, his brother should take his wife to himself and should raise up offspring for his brother. |
| 12:20 |
Busa unya, there were seven brothers. Ug ang nahauna nangasawa, and he died without leaving behind offspring. |
| 12:21 |
And the second took her, ug siya namatay. And neither did he leave behind offspring. And the third acted similarly. |
| 12:22 |
And in like manner, each of the seven received her and did not leave behind offspring. Katapusan sa tanan, namatay usab ang babaye. |
| 12:23 |
Busa, in the resurrection, when they will rise again, to which of them will she be a wife? For each of the seven had her as wife.” |

And Jesus responded by saying to them: “But have you not gone astray, by knowing neither the scriptures, nor the power of God? |
| 12:25 |
For when they will be resurrected from the dead, they shall neither marry, nor be given in marriage, but they are like the Angels in heaven. |
| 12:26 |
But concerning the dead who rise again, have you not read in the book of Moses, how God spoke to him from the bush, nag-ingon: ‘I am the God of Abraham, ug ang Dios ni Isaac, and the God of Jacob?' |

He is not the God of the dead, apan sa mga buhi. Busa, you have gone far astray.” |

Ug usa sa mga eskriba, kinsa nakadungog kanila nga naglalis, mipaduol kaniya. Ug sa nakita niya nga maayo ang iyang pagtubag kanila, siya nangutana kaniya kon hain ang unang sugo sa tanan. |

Ug si Jesus mitubag kaniya: “Kay ang nahaunang sugo sa tanan mao kini: ‘Paminaw, Israel. Ang Ginoo nga imong Dios maoy usa ka Dios. |
| 12:30 |
Ug higugmaon mo ang Ginoo nga imong Dios sa tibuok mong kasingkasing, ug gikan sa tibuok mong kalag, ug gikan sa tibuok mong hunahuna, ug gikan sa tibuok mong kusog. Kini mao ang unang sugo.’ |
| 12:31 |
Apan ang ikaduha susama niini: ‘Higugmaa ang imong silingan sama sa imong kaugalingon.’ Wala nay laing sugo nga labaw niini.” |

Ug ang escriba miingon kaniya: Maayo ang giingon, Magtutudlo. Nagsulti ka sa kamatuoran nga adunay usa ka Dios, ug wala nay lain gawas kaniya; |
| 12:33 |
ug nga siya kinahanglan higugmaon gikan sa tibuok kasingkasing, ug gikan sa tibuok pagsabot, ug gikan sa tibuok kalag, ug gikan sa tibuok kusog. Ug ang paghigugma sa silingan sama sa kaugalingon labaw pa sa tanang halad nga sinunog ug mga halad.” |

Ug si Jesus, nakita nga siya mitubag nga maalamon, miingon kaniya, “Dili ka halayo sa gingharian sa Dios.” Ug pagkahuman niana, walay nangahas sa pagpangutana kaniya. |

And while teaching in the temple, Jesus said in answer: “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David? |
| 12:36 |
For David himself said in the Holy Spirit: ‘Ang Ginoo miingon sa akong Ginoo: Lingkod sa akong tuo nga kamot, until I set your enemies as your footstool.’ |

Busa, David himself calls him Lord, and so how can he be his son?” And a great multitude listened to him willingly. |

Ug siya miingon kanila sa iyang pagtolon-an: “Pagbantay sa mga escriba, nga mas gusto nga maglakaw nga nagsul-ob ug tag-as nga mga bisti ug timbayaon sa tiyanggihan, |

ug sa paglingkod sa unang mga lingkoranan sa mga sinagoga, ug sa pagbaton sa unang mga lingkoranan sa mga kombira, |
| 12:40 |
nga naglamoy sa mga balay sa mga babayeng balo ubos sa pagpakaaron-ingnon sa tag-as nga mga pag-ampo. Kini sila makadawat sa mas lapad nga paghukom.” |

Ug si Jesus, naglingkod atbang sa offertory box, gikonsiderar ang paagi diin ang panon sa katawhan naghulog ug mga sensilyo ngadto sa halad, ug nga daghan sa mga adunahan nakahulog ug dako. |
| 12:42 |
Apan sa dihang miabot ang usa ka kabos nga biyuda, nagbutang siya ug duha ka gagmayng sensilyo, nga usa ka quarter. |
| 12:43 |
Ug gitawag niya ang iyang mga tinon-an, siya miingon kanila: “Amen sultihan ko kamo, nga kining kabus nga babayeng balo mihulog ug labaw pa kay sa tanan nga miamot sa halad. |
| 12:44 |
Kay silang tanan mihatag gikan sa ilang kadagaya, sa tinuod lang, naghatag siya gikan sa iyang kakulang, bisan ang tanan nga iya, sa tibuok niyang kinabuhi.” |
