Oseas 14: 2-7

14:2 Israel, pagkabig ngadto sa Ginoo nga imong Dios. Kay ikaw nalaglag tungod sa imong kaugalingong kasal-anan.
14:3 Dad-a kining mga pulonga ug balik sa Ginoo. Ug ingna siya, “Kuhaa ang tanang kasal-anan ug dawata ang maayo. Ug among ibayad ang mga nating baka sa among mga ngabil.
14:4 Dili kami luwason ni Assur; dili kami mosakay sa mga kabayo. Dili na usab kita mosulti, ‘Ang mga buhat sa atong mga kamot mao ang atong mga diyos,’ kay sila nga anaa kanimo maluoy sa mga ilo.”
14:5 ayohon ko ang ilang paghinulsol; Ako silang higugmaon nga kusa. Kay ang akong kaligutgut gipahilayo gikan kanila.
14:6 Ako mahisama sa yamog; Ang Israel motubo sama sa lirio, ug ang iyang gamot mokaylap sama nianang sa mga sedro sa Lebanon.
14:7 Mouswag ang iyang mga sanga, ug ang iyang himaya mahisama sa kahoy nga olibo, ug ang iyang kahumot mahimong sama nianang sa mga sedro sa Lebanon.

Mateo 10: 16-23

10:16 Tan-awa, I am sending you like sheep in the midst of wolves. Busa, be as prudent as serpents and as simple as doves.
10:17 But beware of men. For they will hand you over to councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues.
10:18 And you shall be led before both rulers and kings for my sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.
10:19 But when they hand you over, do not choose to think about how or what to speak. For what to speak shall be given to you in that hour.
10:20 For it is not you who will be speaking, but the Spirit of your Father, who will speak in you.
10:21 And brother will hand over brother to death, and father will hand over son. And children will rise up against parents and bring about their deaths.
10:22 And you will be hated by all for the sake of my name. But whoever will have persevered, even to the end, the same shall be saved.
10:23 Now when they persecute you in one city, flee into another. Amen ginaingon ko kanimo, you will not have exhausted all the cities of Israel, before the Son of man returns.
