Pagbasa

Ang Sulat ni San Pablo sa mga Taga-Efeso 2: 12-22

2:12	and that you were, niadtong panahona, without Christ, being foreign to the way of life of Israel, being visitors to the testament, having no hope of the promise, and being without God in this world.
2:13	Apan karon, diha ni Kristo Jesus, ikaw, who were in times past far away, have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
2:14	For he is our peace. He made the two into one, by dissolving the intermediate wall of separation, of opposition, by his flesh,
2:15	emptying the law of commandments by decree, so that he might join these two, sa iyang kaugalingon, into one new man, making peace
2:16	and reconciling both to God, in one body, through the cross, destroying this opposition in himself.
2:17	And upon arriving, he evangelized peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near.
2:18	For by him, we both have access, sa usa ka Espiritu, to the Father.
2:19	Karon, busa, dili na ka bisita ug bag-ong nangabot. Hinuon, mga lungsoranon kamo taliwala sa mga balaan sa panimalay sa Dios,
2:20	nga gitukod diha sa pundasyon sa mga Apostoles ug sa mga Propeta, nga si Jesu-Kristo mismo ang nag-unang bato sa pamag-ang.
2:21	Diha kaniya, ang tanan nga natukod gihiusa, mibangon ngadto sa usa ka balaan nga templo diha sa Ginoo.
2:22	Diha kaniya, kamo usab gitukod sa tingub ngadto sa usa ka puloy-anan sa Dios diha sa Espiritu.

Ang Balaang Ebanghelyo Sumala kang Lucas 12: 35-38

12:35	Let your waists be girded, and let lamps be burning in your hands.
12:36	And let you yourselves be like men awaiting their lord, when he will return from the wedding; mao nga, when he arrives and knocks, they may open to him promptly.
12:37	Blessed are those servants whom the Lord, when he returns, will find being vigilant. Amen ginaingon ko kanimo, that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, while he, nagpadayon sa, will minister to them.
12:38	And if he will return in the second watch, or if in the third watch, and if he will find them to be so: then blessed are those servants.
