The Book of Judges 13: 2-7, 24-25

13:2 Ary nisy lehilahy anankiray avy any Zora, ary avy amin'ny fototr'i Dana, Manoa no anarany, manana vady momba.
13:3 Ary nisy Anjelin'ny Tompo niseho taminy, ary hoy izy: “Tsy manan-janaka ianao. Nefa hanan'anaka ianao ka hiteraka zazalahy;.
13:4 Ary noho izany, mitandrema mba tsy hisotro divay na toaka. Ary aza mihinana izay maloto ianareo;.
13:5 Fa hanan'anaka ianao ka hiteraka zazalahy;, izay tsy hokasihin-kareza ny lohany. Fa ho Nazirita an'Andriamanitra izy, hatramin’ny fahazazany sy hatrany an-kibon-dreniny. Ary izy no hanomboka hanafaka ny Isiraely amin’ny tanan’ny Filistina.
13:6 Ary rehefa lasa nankany amin'ny vadiny izy, hoy izy taminy: “Nisy lehilahin’Andriamanitra tonga tamiko, manana tarehin'Anjely, mahatsiravina indrindra. Ary rehefa nanontany azy aho, iza izy, ary avy taiza izy, ary inona no anarana niantsoana azy, tsy nety nilaza tamiko izy.
13:7 Fa namaly izy: ‘Indro, hanan'anaka ianao ka hiteraka zazalahy. Mitandrema mba tsy hisotro divay na toaka. Ary aza mihinana izay maloto. Fa Nazirita an'Andriamanitra ny zazalahy hatramin'ny fahazazany, hatrany an-kibon-dreniny, eny hatramin’ny andro hahafatesany aza.’ ”
13:8 And so Manoah prayed to the Lord, ary hoy izy, “I beg you Lord, that the man of God, whom you sent, may come again, and may teach us what we ought to do about the boy who is to be born.”
13:9 And the Lord heeded the prayer of Manoah, and the Angel of the Lord appeared again to his wife, sitting in a field. But her husband Manoah was not with her. And when she had seen the Angel,
13:10 she hurried and ran to her husband. And she reported to him, ka nanao hoe:, “Indro, the man appeared to me, whom I had seen before.”
13:11 And he rose up and followed his wife. And going to the man, hoy izy taminy, “Are you the one who spoke to my wife?Dia namaly izy, "Izaho dia."
13:12 And Manoah said to him: “When will your word be fulfilled. What do you want the boy to do? Or from what should he keep himself?”
13:13 And the Angel of the Lord said to Manoah: “Concerning all the things about which I have spoken to your wife, she herself should abstain.
13:14 And let her eat nothing from the vine. She may not drink wine or strong drink. She may consume nothing unclean. And let her observe and keep what I have instructed to her.”
13:15 And Manoah said to the Angel of the Lord, “I beg you to agree to my petition, and to let us prepare a kid from the goats.”
13:16 And the Angel answered him: “Even if you compel me, I will not eat from your bread. But if you are willing to offer a holocaust, offer it to the Lord.” And Manoah did not know that he was an Angel of the Lord.
13:17 Dia hoy izy taminy, "Iza ny anaranao, amin'izay mba, if your word is fulfilled, we may honor you?”
13:18 Dia namaly azy izy, “Nahoana no manontany ny anarako ianao, which is a wonder?”
13:19 Ary noho izany, Manoah took a kid from the goats, and libations, and he placed them upon a rock, as an offering to the Lord, who accomplishes wonders. Then he and his wife watched.
13:20 And when the flame of the altar ascended to heaven, the Angel of the Lord ascended in the flame. And when Manoah and his wife had seen this, they fell prone on the ground.
13:21 And the Angel of the Lord no longer appeared to them. Ary avy hatrany, Manoah understood him to be an Angel of the Lord.
13:22 And he said to his wife, “We shall certainly die, since we have seen God.”
13:23 And his wife answered him, “If the Lord wished to kill us, he would not have accepted the holocaust and the libations from our hands. He would not have revealed all these things to us, nor would he have told us the things that are in the future.”
13:24 Dia niteraka zazalahy izy, ary ny anarany nataony hoe Samsona. Ary nihalehibe ilay zazalahy, ary ny Tompo nitahy azy.
13:25 Ary ny Fanahin'i Jehovah dia nanomboka nomba azy tao an-tobin'i Dana, teo anelanelan’i Zora sy Estaola.
