Deuteronomy 8: 2-3, 14-16

8:2 And you shall remember the entire journey along which the Lord your God led you, for forty years through the desert, to afflict you, and to test you, and to make known the things that were turning in your soul, whether or not you would keep his commandments.

8:3 He afflicted you with need, and he gave you Manna as your food, which neither you nor your fathers knew, so as to reveal to you that it is not by bread alone that man lives, but by every word that goes forth from the mouth of God.

6:51	Izaho no mofo velona, izay nidina avy tany an-danitra.
6:52	Raha misy mihinana amin'ity mofo ity, ho velona mandrakizay izy. Ary ny mofo izay homeko dia ny nofoko, ho an’ny fiainan’izao tontolo izao”.
6:53	Ary noho izany, Niady hevitra ny Jiosy, ka nanao hoe:, “Ahoana no fanomezan’Ilehity ny nofony hohanintsika??”
6:54	Ary noho izany, Hoy Jesosy taminy: “Amena, amena, lazaiko aminareo, raha tsy mihinana ny nofon’ny Zanak’olona sy misotro ny rany ianareo, tsy hanana fiainana ao anatinao ianao.
6:55	Izay mihinana ny nofoko sy misotro ny rako no manana fiainana mandrakizay, ary Izaho hanangana azy amin'ny andro farany.
6:56	Fa ny nofoko no tena hanina, ary ny rako no tena fisotro.
6:57	Izay mihinana ny nofoko sy misotro ny rako no mitoetra ao amiko, ary izaho ao aminy.
6:58	tahaka ny nanirahan’ny Ray velona Ahy, ary Izaho koa velona amin’ny Ray, toy izany koa izay mihinana ahy, dia ho velona noho ny amiko izy.
