Ang Aklat ni Propeta Isaias 6: 1-8

6:1In the year in which king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, sublime and exalted, and the things that were under him filled the temple.
6:2The Seraphims were standing above the throne. One had six wings, and the other had six wings: with two they were covering his face, and with two they were covering his feet, and with two they were flying.
6:3And they were crying out to one another, at sinasabi: “Banal, banal, holy is the Lord God of hosts! All the earth is filled with his glory!”
6:4And the lintels above the hinges were shaken at the voice of the one crying out. And the house was filled with smoke.
6:5At sabi ko: “Woe to me! For I have remained silent. For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live in the midst of a people having unclean lips, and I have seen with my eyes the King, the Lord of hosts!”
6:6And one of the Seraphims flew to me, and in his hand was a burning coal, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
6:7And he touched my mouth, at sabi niya, “Narito, this has touched your lips, and so your iniquities will be taken away, and your sin will be cleansed.”
6:8And I heard the voice of the Lord, kasabihan: “Whom shall I send?” at, “Who will go for us?” And I said: “Narito ako. Send me.”

Ang Banal na Ebanghelyo Ayon kay Mateo 10: 24- 31

10:24And the disciples were astonished at his words. Ngunit si Hesus, answering again, sabi sa kanila: “Little sons, how difficult it is for those who trust in money to enter into the kingdom of God!
10:25It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for the rich to enter into the kingdom of God.”
10:26And they wondered even more, saying among themselves, "WHO, pagkatapos, can be saved?”
10:27At si Hesus, nakatingin sa kanila, sabi: “With men it is impossible; ngunit hindi sa Diyos. For with God all things are possible.”
10:28And Peter began to say to him, “Narito, we have left all things and have followed you.”
10:29Bilang tugon, sabi ni Hesus: “Amen sinasabi ko sa iyo, There is no one who has left behind house, o mga kapatid, o mga kapatid na babae, o ama, o ina, o mga bata, o lupa, for my sake and for the Gospel,
10:30who will not receive one hundred times as much, now in this time: houses, at mga kapatid, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and land, with persecutions, and in the future age eternal life.
10:31But many of the first shall be last, at ang huli ay mauuna.”
