First Reading

A Reading From the Acts of the Apostles 10: 34, 37-43

10:34	Потім, Петро, відкривши рот, сказав: «Я дійсно дійшов висновку, що Бог не дивиться на обличчя.
10:37	Ви знаєте, що Слово було відоме по всій Юдеї. Для початку з Галілеї, після хрещення, яке проповідував Іван,
10:38	Ісус з Назарету, якого Бог помазав Святим Духом і силою, мандрував навколо, роблячи добро та зцілюючи всіх, пригноблених дияволом. Бо Бог був із ним.
10:39	І ми є свідками всього, що він зробив в Юдейській землі та в Єрусалимі, той, кого вони вбили, повісивши на дереві.
10:40	Бог воскресив його на третій день і дозволив йому з’явитися,
10:41	не всім людям, але для свідків, наперед визначених Богом, тим із нас, хто їв і пив з ним після того, як він воскрес із мертвих.
10:42	І він наказав нам проповідувати людям, і засвідчити, що він є Тим, Кого призначив Бог суддею живих і мертвих.
10:43	Йому всі пророки свідчать, що через його ім’я всі, хто вірує в нього, отримують прощення гріхів».

Second Reading

The Letter of St. Paul to the Colossians 3: 1-4

3:1	тому, if you have risen together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
3:2	Consider the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth.
3:3	For you have died, and so your life is hidden with Christ in God.
3:4	When Christ, your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Gospel

The Holy Gospel According to John 20: 1-9

20:1	Then on the first Sabbath, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and she saw that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb.

20:7	and the separate cloth which had been over his head, not placed with the linen cloths, but in a separate place, wrapped up by itself.
20:8	Then the other disciple, who had arrived first at the tomb, also entered. And he saw and believed.
20:9	For as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that it was necessary for him to rise again from the dead.
