Matteus 18: 1-5, 10, 12-14

31:1 En so, Moses went out, and he spoke all these words to all of Israel.

31:2 En hy het vir hulle gesê: “Today, I am one hundred and twenty years old. I am no longer able to go out and return, especially since the Lord has also said to me, ‘You shall not cross this Jordan.’

31:3 Daarom, the Lord your God will go across before you. He himself will abolish all these nations in your sight, and you shall possess them. And this man Joshua shall go across before you, just as the Lord has spoken.

31:4 And the Lord will do to them just as he did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land, and he will wipe them away.

31:5 Daarom, when the Lord will have delivered these to you also, you shall act similarly toward them, just as I have instructed you.

18:10 See to it that you do not despise even one of these little ones. Want Ek sê vir jou, that their Angels in heaven continually look upon the face of my Father, wie in die hemel is.

18:12 Hoe lyk dit vir jou? As iemand honderd skape het, en as een van hulle gedwaal het, moet hy nie die nege-en-negentig in die berge agterlaat nie, en gaan uit om te soek wat gedwaal het?

18:13 En as hy dit toevallig sou vind: Amen sê ek vir jou, dat hy meer vreugde oor daardie een het, as oor die nege en negentig wat nie afgedwaal het nie.

18:14 Selfs so, dit is nie die wil voor jou Vader nie, wie in die hemel is, dat een van hierdie kleintjies verlore moet gaan.
