The Book of the Prophet Ezekiel 2: 8-3: 4

2:8	Maar wat jou betref, son of man, listen to all that I say to you. And do not choose to be provoking, as that house is a provoker. Open your mouth, and eat whatever I give to you.”
2:9	And I looked, en kyk: a hand was put forth toward me; there was a scroll rolled up in it. And he spread it out before me, and there was writing on the inside and on the outside. And there were written in it lamentations, and verses, and woes.

3:1	En hy het vir my gesê: “Seun van die mens, eat whatever you will find; eat this scroll, en, going forth, speak to the sons of Israel.”
3:2	And I opened my mouth, and he fed me that scroll.
3:3	En hy het vir my gesê: “Seun van die mens, your stomach shall eat, and your interior shall be filled with this scroll, which I am giving to you.” And I ate it, and in my mouth it became as sweet as honey.
3:4	En hy het vir my gesê: “Seun van die mens, go to the house of Israel, and you shall speak my words to them.

Die Heilige Evangelie volgens Matteus 18: 1-5, 10, 12-14

18:1	In that hour, the disciples drew near to Jesus, sê, “Whom do you consider to be greater in the kingdom of heaven?”
18:2	En Jesus, calling to himself a little child, placed him in their midst.
18:3	En hy het gesê: “Amen Ek sê vir jou, unless you change and become like little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
18:4	Daarom, whoever will have humbled himself like this little child, such a one is greater in the kingdom of heaven.
18:5	And whoever shall accept one such little child in my name, accepts me.
18:10	See to it that you do not despise even one of these little ones. Want Ek sê vir jou, that their Angels in heaven continually look upon the face of my Father, wie in die hemel is.
18:12	Hoe lyk dit vir jou? As iemand honderd skape het, en as een van hulle gedwaal het, moet hy nie die nege-en-negentig in die berge agterlaat nie, en gaan uit om te soek wat gedwaal het?
18:13	En as hy dit toevallig sou vind: Amen sê ek vir jou, dat hy meer vreugde oor daardie een het, as oor die nege en negentig wat nie afgedwaal het nie.
18:14	Selfs so, dit is nie die wil voor jou Vader nie, wie in die hemel is, dat een van hierdie kleintjies verlore moet gaan.
