Exodo 20: 1- 17
| 20:1 | And the Lord spoke all these words: |
| 20:2 | “I am the Lord your God, nga nagpahilayo kanimo gikan sa yuta sa Egipto, out of the house of servitude. |
| 20:3 | You shall not have strange gods before me. |
| 20:4 | You shall not make for yourself a graven image, nor a likeness of anything that is in heaven above or on earth below, nor of those things which are in the waters under the earth. |
| 20:5 | You shall not adore them, dili ka usab mosimba kanila. I am the Lord your God: strong, zealous, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the sons to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, |
| 20:6 | and showing mercy to thousands of those who love me and keep my precepts. |
| 20:7 | You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. For the Lord will not hold harmless one who takes the name of the Lord his God falsely. |
| 20:8 | Remember that you are to sanctify the day of the Sabbath. |
| 20:9 | For six days, you will work and accomplish all your tasks. |
| 20:10 | But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. You shall not do any work in it: you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, your beast and the newcomer who is within your gates. |
| 20:11 | For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, ug dagat, ug ang tanang mga butang nga anaa kanila, and so he rested on the seventh day. Tungod niini nga hinungdan, the Lord has blessed the day of the Sabbath and sanctified it. |
| 20:12 | Tahura ang imong amahan ug ang imong inahan, so that you may have a long life upon the land, which the Lord your God will give to you. |
| 20:13 | You shall not murder. |
| 20:14 | Dili ka manapaw. |
| 20:15 | Dili ka mangawat. |
| 20:16 | You shall not speak false testimony against your neighbor. |
| 20:17 | You shall not covet the house of your neighbor; neither shall you desire his wife, nor male servant, nor female servant, nor ox, nor donkey, nor anything that is his.” |
Unang Mga Taga-Corinto 1: 22- 25
| 1:22 | Kay ang mga Judio mangayo ug mga ilhanan, ug ang mga Griego nangitag kaalam. |
| 1:23 | Apan kami nagwali kang Kristo nga gilansang sa krus. Sigurado, sa mga Judio, kini usa ka eskandalo, ug sa mga Gentil, kini usa ka binuang. |
| 1:24 | Apan sa mga gitawag, Mga Judio ingon man mga Griego, ang Kristo mao ang hiyas sa Dios ug ang kaalam sa Dios. |
| 1:25 | Kay kon unsa ang kabuangan sa Dios giisip nga maalamon sa mga tawo, ug ang kahuyang sa Dios giisip nga kusgan sa mga tawo. |
Juan 2: 13- 25
| 2:13 | Ug haduol na ang pasko sa mga Judio, ug busa si Jesus mikayab sa Jerusalem. |
| 2:14 | Ug iyang nakaplagan, naglingkod sa templo, mga tigbaligya ug mga baka ug karnero ug mga salampati, ug ang mga tigbaylo ug kuwarta. |
| 2:15 | Ug sa diha nga siya nakahimo ug usa ka butang nga sama sa usa ka latigo gikan sa gagmay nga mga pisi, iyang gipapahawa silang tanan sa templo, lakip ang mga karnero ug mga baka. Ug iyang gibubo ang mga sensilyo nga tumbaga sa mga mag-ilis ug salapi, ug iyang gipanglintuwad ang ilang mga lamesa. |
| 2:16 | Ug sa mga namaligya ug mga salampati, ingon siya: “Kuhaa kining mga butanga gikan dinhi, ug ayaw himoa ang balay sa akong Amahan nga usa ka balay sa negosyo.” |
| 2:17 | Ug tinuod, ang iyang mga tinun-an gipahinumdoman nga kini nahisulat: “Ang kasibot alang sa imong balay naglamoy kanako.” |
| 2:18 | Unya ang mga Judio mitubag ug miingon kaniya, “Unsang ilhanan ang imong ikapakita kanamo, aron mahimo nimo kining mga butanga?” |
| 2:19 | Si Jesus mitubag ug miingon kanila, “Gubaa kini nga templo, ug sa tulo ka adlaw akong bangonon kini.” |
| 2:20 | Unya ang mga Judio miingon, “Kini nga templo gitukod sulod sa kap-atan ug unom ka tuig, ug imong pabangonon kini sulod sa tulo ka adlaw?” |
| 2:21 | Apan nagsulti siya mahitungod sa Templo sa iyang lawas. |
| 2:22 | Busa, sa dihang nabanhaw siya gikan sa mga patay, ang iyang mga tinun-an nahinumdom nga siya misulti niini, ug mituo sila sa mga Kasulatan ug sa pulong nga gisulti ni Jesus. |
| 2:23 | Now while he was at Jerusalem during the Passover, on the day of the feast, many trusted in his name, seeing his signs that he was accomplishing. |
| 2:24 | But Jesus did not trust himself to them, because he himself had knowledge of all persons, |
| 2:25 | and because he had no need of anyone to offer testimony about a man. For he knew what was within a man. |
