Première lecture

A Reading From the Acts of the Apostles 10: 34, 37-43

10:34	Alors, Pierre, ouvrant sa bouche, a dit: "J'ai conclu en vérité que Dieu ne fait pas acception de personnes.
10:37	Vous savez que la Parole s'est fait connaître dans toute la Judée. Pour commencer de Galilée, après le baptême que Jean a prêché,
10:38	Jésus de Nazareth, que Dieu a oint du Saint-Esprit et de puissance, parcouru faisant le bien et guérissant tous ceux qui étaient opprimés par le diable. Car Dieu était avec lui.
10:39	Et nous sommes témoins de tout ce qu'il a fait dans la région de Judée et à Jérusalem, celui qu'ils ont tué en le pendant à un arbre.
10:40	Dieu l'a ressuscité le troisième jour et a permis qu'il soit manifesté,
10:41	pas à tout le monde, mais aux témoins prédestinés par Dieu, à ceux d'entre nous qui ont mangé et bu avec lui après sa résurrection d'entre les morts.
10:42	Et il nous a ordonné de prêcher au peuple, et pour témoigner qu'il est Celui qui a été établi par Dieu pour être le juge des vivants et des morts.
10:43	Tous les prophètes lui rendent témoignage que par son nom tous ceux qui croient en lui reçoivent la rémission des péchés.

Deuxième lecture

The Letter of St. Paul to the Colossians 3: 1-4

3:1	Donc, if you have risen together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
3:2	Consider the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth.
3:3	For you have died, and so your life is hidden with Christ in God.
3:4	When Christ, your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Gospel

Le Saint Evangile selon Jean 20: 1-9

20:1	Then on the first Sabbath, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and she saw that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb.
20:2	Donc, she ran and went to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and she said to them, “They have taken the Lord away from the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.”
20:3	Donc, Peter departed with the other disciple, and they went to the tomb.
20:4	Now they both ran together, but the other disciple ran more quickly, ahead of Peter, and so he arrived at the tomb first.
20:5	And when he bowed down, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not yet enter.
20:6	Then Simon Peter arrived, following him, and he entered the tomb, and he saw the linen cloths lying there,
20:7	and the separate cloth which had been over his head, not placed with the linen cloths, but in a separate place, wrapped up by itself.
20:8	Then the other disciple, who had arrived first at the tomb, also entered. And he saw and believed.
20:9	For as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that it was necessary for him to rise again from the dead.
